Description of the Cornwall vacation barn rental
This recently converted barn comprises an open plan living, dining and kitchen area at first floor level leading out onto an exclusive raised decking area giving views over the neighbouring farmland and benefiting from the late afternoon/early evening sun. The fully fitted kitchen has a double oven cooker with ceramic hob, a microwave, fridge freezer and full size dishwasher. The lounge area has a comfy three piece suite and digital TV with freeview. Exposed beams enhance the whole first floor area. Downstairs the master bedroom has a double bed and ensuite bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and washbasin. The second bedroom has two single beds. There is a family bathroom and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Full central heating is included in the price. The barn is situated adjacent to the owners home in grounds extending to just over 3 acres. Over a thousand trees have been planted in recent years and a path meanders through them for quiet strolls.

Situated on the edge of Bodmin moor near Roughtor and Brown Willy - the two highest peaks in Cornwall with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Lowermoor reservoir sits at the foot of Roughtor and has level walking and fishing available. The north Cornwall coast is approximately five miles away with its many sandy beaches such as Widemouth Bay, Trebarwith Strand, Daymer Bay and Polzeath and further southwest to Newquay and its famous surfing beaches. The picturesque villages of Boscastle and Tintagel are both approximately seven miles away and the castle at Tintagel with its links to the legend of King Arthur is worth a visit. Padstow is a short drive and is still an active fishing port with a busy harbour and parking right on the quay. There are supermarkets within easy reach and the nearest town of Camelford boasts the full range of shops, pubs and takeaways.
