LOCAL FACILITIES: The nearest main town of Tortosa is a short 6 km drive away offering great dining, shopping, traditional daily produce market where you can purchase fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and stop at one of the roadside cafes for coffee or Tapas.
ENTERTAINMENT: There are many local Fiestas throughout the year, firework displays being the specialty. Most of the surrounding villages have their own fiestas where you can get a taste of true unspoilt Spanish life. Horse riding/trekking is found close by and a trip out onto the Delta on one of the many riverboats will take you past flocks of pink flamingos and many other birds which can be observed in one of the specially constructed hides. For the youngsters if they get tired of lounging by the private pool - Port Adventurer is a short train ride away with its Theme Park and Water Parks together with the popular beaches of Salou and Cambrils. Barcelona is a day trip and the train is great value and will take you right along the Costa coastline into the heart of this cultural city center.
FISHING: The river Ebro is well known for its fantastic Catfishing, many people having caught the biggest of their lives...trips can be arranged prior to your visit at an extra cost
