Comfortable Apartment in Central Location

My family of four stayed in the apartment this fall. The apartment is comfortable and bigger than you'd expect for such a crowded and big city like Paris. The two bedrooms are just like pictured in the web site. One of the twin beds has another bed of the same size that slides out from underneath, so there are really three tween beds. There is also a full sized pull out bed from the sofa, we didn't use it much, but it seemed comfortable. We didn't do any cooking, bu the kitchen does offer basic cooking utensils and dishes.
We took advantage of the closeness of the apartment to the metro and took the metro everywhere we could. One ticket lasts 2 hours, we learned this lesson the hard way, as we got lost and spent more than two hours within the train stations and a very unpleasant officer in the train station gave us a 80 euro fine. Some people in Paris can be very unpleasant, they don't care you need help, even if you are trying your best in French to explain your needs, so do your homework as much as you can.
Back to the apartment, I found the living room comfortable, and the dinning room table was spacious enough for six. We didn't eat at all in the apartment, for we didn't have much time to cook, but there is a small store in the first level of the building where you can buy very basic things. As everything in Paris it's pricey.
There were six small shower towels available for use. Very basic, but if you forget your own, these are available.
The apartment is not technically on the first floor. You must go up the stairs to go up to it, so if you are wheelchair bound, you cannot use this apartment, as even the access to the very small, one-person elevator, requires going up about five steps to get to it.
Also, parking is a nightmare in Paris. I recommend you don't drive. We could not find a parking space anywhere close to the apartment, not even in the Parking garages near by.
We liked the apartment. It was more comfortable than most hotels. We are typical Americans spoiled by big spaces, and this provided a decent space in a crowded city.
Owner's Response: Thank you for the review....they are always appreciated both by owners and people looking to make a choice for their holiday.
My apolgies regarding the towels...you were meant to have a large towel and a hand towel per person...I have spoken to the concierge regarding this.
The apartment is on the first floor....in most of the world the street level is called the the ground floor, and one up from street is the first floor. There is a lift, so no need to use the stairs if you prefer not to.
Bad luck regarding the parking ticket, but had that been London or New York, the car would have been removed and the fine in London would have been the best part of £400....€80 starts to seem cheap.
There is an underground car park across the road, and you may have to book a place if you bring a car....but you are right, no car needed in Paris and the apartment provides just about everything except your clothes :-)
Best wishes,
Jon
