Loon’s Landing is celebrating its’ 1st Anniversary in June. This new squeaky clean cottage with a rustic homey feeling is ready for your family, friends, retreat, reunion or what ever brings you to our beautiful Grand Lake. And, what a grand lake it is with over 10 islands dotting the 5,660 acres of freshwater with many great fishing holes.
Loon’s Landing can accommodate up to 10 guests. We have a queen master suite with a shower, two other bedrooms with a twin and a bunk bed with a full under twin. The cottage is complete with a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer, dryer, flat screen TV with Dish satellite, DVD player, books, games and more.
The beachfront has a 30 foot dock, a waters edge deck with patio furniture and loungers, sandy beach, fire pit, two picnic tables and a canoe for your use. The large front yard has plenty of room to play and the back yard boasts a regulation horseshoe pit. For your grilling pleasure we offer a Charbroil gas grill and a Weber charcoal grill.
Loon’s Landing is located off East Grand Lake Rd. a short distance from the small town of Presque Isle. Bring your bike and take advantage of the bike lane, enjoy a wonderful spin through nature and visit our prized New and Old Presque Isle Lighthouses and enrich yourself with the local history and stories of the ghosts that haunt the area.
Rogers City, home to Plath’s, is 25 minutes west along the coast of Lake Huron and downtown Alpena is also about a 25 minute drive. No need to do any traveling once you have arrived as there are many miles to hike/bike/boat and swim right outside the door.
