Are you looking for a very comfortable home with central A/C a short stroll to the beach? This over-sized Cape Cod style home is in the highly sought after 'Surf Side' area of Wellfleet directly off Ocean View Drive. This extraordinary location and spacious, comfortable house is a 2 minute stroll to LeCount Hollow Beach (McGuire's Landing). See the pictures. It is located inside the National Seashore. The ocean beaches (Lecounts, White Crest, Cahoon Hollow and Newcomb Hollow) are consistently rated among the top 5-10 beaches in the country. This great area attracts families and groups escaping the rigors of real life for a week or two.
The house has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6. There are 2 on the first floor (queen and full) and 1 on the second level(2 twins). There is a full bathroom and an outside shower. There is a very spacious living room and kitchen. Additionally, there is a rollaway single bed to accomodate an overnight guest.
The shady patio/yard is a unique feature of the house. It offers a quiet place to relax and have a cocktail or eat outside with family and friends. In the afternoon it is a shady oasis after a hot day at the beach.
Alternatively, walk or drive to the Beachcomber Restaurant (~1 mile down Ocean View Drive) and have a cocktail in the outside bar 'apres beach', dinner (great fresh clams, lobster and wellfleet oysters) or experience the outstanding night life.
Other amenities include wifi, a nearby bike trail, close access to the other ocean side beaches, several fresh water kettle ponds and bayside beaches, near town center and harbor.
You never need to leave the area but, for the adventurous, there are many great restaurants, art galleries and other attractions in Wellfleet and the surrounding towns (P-Town, Truro or Orleans). Provincetown offers a vibrant downtown area which is a *must* daytrip. There is also a variety of night options in Provincetown for the adventurous.
Jog or bike along Ocean View Drive. Fish, swim or relax on the beach or on your deck overlooking the Atlantic
