Family of 6 with last daughter at Auburn! Love this area!
JoAnna purchased this house in 2012
For years we have dreamed of living in Guntersville. It is such a quaint town with shopping, fishiing and water living. In 2007 we made the move from Madison, Alabama. We purchased property on top of Wyeth Mountain as water front was not an option. In 2012 we found this property and decided to take the plung and we are glad we did. We started renting The Bungalow and this has allowed us to meet many wonderful people that we would never have come in contact with.
The quiet peaceful atmosphere. All the day to day worries seem to melt away as soon as you walk in the door. We are hands on and will address any needs or concerns you may have before, during and after your stay. Thanks for choosing The Bungalow! We know you have a choice!
Thanks for yet another awesome getaway. This time we were able to stay longer and have had even more fun. This time my brother and his family came along too, so all of us were able to spend a few days playing on the pontoon boat. We will definitely be back!
We stayed for two nights. This place was outstanding. Very well stocked, very clean. Joanna and her husband came over one afternoon just to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. Great folks!!!! We will stay here again if it is available when we come back.
Very nice place to stay. Beautiful view of the lake from the back porch. This was the perfect place for 6 fisherman to be close to the lake.
The bungalow was a great place to stay, enough room for 6 people to be comfortable. It was clean and had everything needed to stay for a week or longer. It was easy access to town and shopping. It was much better than staying in a motel. It was excellent to find such a bungalow to rent while on vacation. The view of the lake was great, a nice area.
House was right on the lake, clean and well kept (inside and outside). Owner when out of her way to ensure everything was taken care of or if I had any questions. House was set up with everything you need to stay for a week or longer.
I will stay again if I return to the area!
We wanted a relaxed but nice place to go with some friends for a long weekend in winter. We found it. The view of the lake was amazing. In the early mornings the waters were covered with birds. We even had an Eagle come to visit!! He swooped down over the water then sat up in a tree across from us for about 30 minutes. With our binoculars we had a good view of him. The living room area has lots of glass doors and windows so you can watch the water as much as you like. The porch is so spacious with plenty of chairs. One day we were able to have lunch outside in the sunshine (in January!) The kitchen was amazingly stocked. We had cooks in our group and they were pleased with what was available. The house is located in a quiet area yet close to the state park, the dam, and downtown Guntersville. Would we rent this place again? Absolutely.
