House, 6 Bedrooms + Loft + Den, 5 Baths, (Sleeps 14)

The Grant House has been in our family for multiple generations. It is located in the borough of Fenwick, a little peninsula at the mouth of the Connecticut River. The house sits right on Long Island Sound. Fenwick is one of those rare places where doors remain unlocked, and children roam. There are 4 tennis courts and a 9-hole golf course that renters can use for free. The house can sleep 12- 14 comfortably. The front of the house retains its old cottage style while the back of the house is more modern. The exposure is southern and the sun floods the property. There is a brand new sauna. The house also comes with a golf cart. It's the ultimate place for a family or to get away and write a book. The Amtrak stops right in Old Saybrook which is incredibly convenient.

About The Owner

My wife and I have 3 beautiful daughters. We own yoga studios in New York and produce large-scale wellness festivals around North American that keep us on the move. We spend most of our time in New York and retreat to Fenwick as our schedule allows.

This house has been in our family for multiple generations. It is the ultimate place for our children.

What makes this house unique

Fenwick is great for anyone that enjoys golf, tennis or sailing. The rental includes all fees relating to golf and tennis - so renters can casually play a round and stop for a lemonade on the front porch. There is a great play group for children during the summer.
