Situated to the south of Honiton, Boycombe is a magnificent house set in its own 45 acres of farmland in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Once you drive up its private lane, you enter a delightfully private and secluded place. The house dates back over 500 years and has many original period features. The kitchen and all the bathrooms were upgraded in 2006 as part of a wide scale refurbishment and so guests can enjoy the antiquity of the house but with modern conveniences. Downstairs there is a kitchen/dining room, a large sitting room with log burning fire and a games room also with a fire, table football and a mini pool table. Upstairs there are three bedrooms - a master double bedroom with ensuite, a small double with sink, a family room with 4/5 beds and a family bathroom. There is a shower room with loo downstairs. Outside a private garden, play area and trampoline. Perfect for getting-away-from-it-all weekend breaks or holidays, Boycombe is great in both winter and summer.

Boycombe is situated 10 minutes to the south of Honiton and close to the historic fossil beaches of the Jurassic Coast to the south, Dartmoor to the west and, to the north, the sandy beaches of North Devon. It offers a wealth of choices for visitors: some people never leave as they enjoy the house and garden or explore the surrounding land with its streams, woodlands and ancient pastures. But civilisation is not far away. Once you venture out of valley, the beaches of Branscombe, Sidmouth or Beer are 15 minutes away along with the shops in Honiton whilst bustling Exeter is half an hour away. There are many great pubs and restaurants within a few minutes drive.
