Apartment, 1 Bedroom + Other (See Description), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 5-7)

Why go to the mountains if you cant see the mountains? Our 1200 square foot private, light, and open downstairs unit, with beautiful mountain views, private entrance, and private 17 ft. swim spa. Has been our children’s and grand children’s favorite vacation and holiday destination for years. Now we offer our families getaway to you and your family. Everyone so far that has seen the unit and the views have absolutely fallen in love with it.

If your looking for a rustic cabin in the woods you are looking at the wrong place. This is a quaint traditional unit with lots of space and character.

Though it only has one bedroom, we have created a sleeping nook with a single bed, and in the great room a sleeper sofa(comfortable) totaling sleep accommodations for up to five adults. There are also two love seats that can accommodate two more kids, and a pull out mattress for one more. All linens provided. The kitchen is large with all appliances to make your stay satisfying and comfortable. There is also a laundry area for your convenience The dining area seats up to eight making it a perfect place for a small family reunion. The great room area has seating for up to eight, a big screen television, DVD , CD player, and a wii game. There is an area in the great room for you to sit read a book, listen to the stereo, or have a conversation. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a separate television, with DVD and CD player as well as HBO.

Outside is the swim spa with a small deck. You control how hot the spa water is. Outside the bedroom there is a dinning area that accomidates up to six. There is a private gazebo for peace and reflection. The mountain views can be seen from all decks and spa.

The year round views are beautiful. The 17 ft. swim spa is kept at app. 100 degrees year round. It is so relaxing.

If you enjoy hiking there is Dupont state forest,just 10 minutes away, with wonderful hiking trails, and waterfalls. This is also where parts of The Hunger Games was shot. Carl Sandburgs house 10 minutes away. Downtown Hendersonville 10 minutes away. Downtown Brevard 20 minutes away. Ashville and Biltmore House 40 minutes away. Blue ridge parkway is 30 minutes away.

My family had a very nice stay at this rental. It was VERY clean and the kitchen was perfect, stocked well for easy cooking and meal planing. The hot tub was a big hit! The owner Pam was very nice and helpful. My only complaint is that I didn't realize the owner lived above the rental.You are renting out a basement apartment in her house.
Owner's Response: I am so glad that Jessie and her family of eight had such a good time. Also, I am also happy that someone has finally brought up the issue that the property is an apartment, and not a cabin. I designed the apartment so it would utilize the best view. All the outside pictures we have in our VRBO listing page, are actually the views from the apartment. My husband Dennis and I lived there happily for eight years. That is why we we now rent it, to mostly couples, but families enjoy it too.

This was wonderful.
Pamela and Dennis were very nice and their place is wonderful.
We took our 7 year old and 5 month old and had the best little quick vacation.
The hot-tub/spa is amazing and that is all my 7 year old has been talking about since we left.

OUR NEW HOME AWAY FROM HOME!!

First off, I would like to say "THANKS!" to Dennis and Pamela for being such great hosts to us when we needed something! My husband and I just left this wonderful slice of heaven this afternoon and its all I have thought about since! We are actually planning on staying at this property again in a month or so! We had the BEST time checking out the town, enjoying the view of the beautiful mountains, and best of all, relaxing in the spa on our own private patio. We even got to see a little snow! No complaints here...can't wait to go back!! Thanks again:)

FAMILY CHRISTMAS GET TOGETHER

Me, my husband, 2 sons and 10 yr old basset hound had a wonderful time in this lovely decorated apartment with modern technology. None of us wanted to leave after 2 great days of mtn sunrise and full moon rise, which we watched from the 17' swim spa! My inlaws came Sun. to do the Christmas get together for 2012. All had a great time playing the games supplied by owners. They didn't want to leave either! We will definitely be back! Thanks for a wonderful holiday time!
