CONVENIENT LOCATION ON AREY COVE

This cottage is only 2.5 miles from town and looks across the road toward the tidal Arey Cove. There is nearby access to the shore via a short path on a Town Landing. It is within walking distance of the town beach and swimming in Booth’s Quarry. The cottage has a small but complete kitchen including dish washer, microwave, and gas stove. There is a Monitor heater to warm up the insulated cottage if the nights are cool. Local phone is provided with a DSL Wi-Fi capability. The TV antenna receives several channels from Bangor, although reception can be poor on wet days. There is a DVD player.

Although the floor area measures less than 1000 sq ft., the cottage has a very efficient open plan. The half bath on the first floor includes a washer and dryer. There is a very pleasant outdoor shower on the rear of the cottage and a south-facing deck for sunning yourself in the afternoon. A daybed in the corner of the living room is great for napping or comfortable relaxing with a book. The second floor has another bathroom with a small shower and two private bedrooms. The master bed room, looking out over the cove, has a queen-sized bed. The other bedroom has a double bed, two twin mattresses and a Pack-N-Play. There is a 14’ x 14’ shed to permit storing bicycles, life jackets, or anything else that you do not wish to bring into the house. Parking is off the street. Linens are provided. The setup is ideal for a small family. Pictures of the interior are included, although the exact furniture may change depending on the guest's needs.
