This welcoming, comfortable house and idyllic area are perfectly located for all your Central Okanagan explorations and adventures. Located half way between Kelowna and Vernon, Lake Country is one of the most desirable locations in the Okanagan, just 20 minutes from Vernon and 25 minutes from Kelowna International airport. Close enough to do anything you'd care to do, far enough way to relax and unwind!
This lovely house has everything you’ll need for the perfect vacation or getaway. The house is located just across the road from the lake (quiet, no thru road) and is sunny and bright with lots of windows to take in the beautiful view of Okanagan Lake and the mountains. Rustic pine beams enhance the high pine ceilings on the upper level.
The house features heated slate tile entrance way and downstairs bathroom, as well as 2 superior gas fireplaces located in the living and family rooms. The west facing balcony is large and sunny with views of the lake and picturesque sunsets over the mountains, table and seating for 6 as well as two reclining loungers. The lovely covered patio off the kitchen features a large Weber gas BBQ, and patio table with seating for four.
The stunning kitchen features beautiful wood cupboards, natural granite counter tops, high end appliances including a 6 burner Thermador gas range, microwave, oven, warming drawer and heated tile floors. Seating for 4 on stools at the island. The cupboards are stocked with all sorts of spices, dry goods, cookware, and serving ware – just bring your favorite fresh food! This is not a bare bones vacation rental, this kitchen is well equipped and ready to cook! Help yourself to fresh herbs from the garden in season.
For those lucky few at the house during about the third week of July you will be treated to big, juicy, fresh Bing cherries right off the tree in the front yard! In mid August our peach tree sags with delicious, juicy peaches!
The second level of the house features the large, beautiful kitchen that opens up to the dining room and living room. There are two queen sized bedrooms on the second level, one facing the lake and one facing the mountains. There is also one full bathroom on the second level adjacent to the bedrooms. The first level (main entrance) of the house features a family room, one queen sized bedroom and one 3/4 bathroom (with custom tile shower, sink and toilet) and laundry room.
The property boats a fully fenced, grassy back yard perfect for playing or relaxing in the shade, an unnoticeable wire mesh attached to the wood fence keeps kids and dog(s) safely contained and also keeps the deer out of the garden buffet! The front yard is also fully fenced (no wire mesh) with lush grass to play games or relax in the sun.
Enjoy pebbly beaches and crystal clear water away from the crowds......beautiful park just 100 feet down the road with boat launch, dock (perfect for jumping off!), tennis court, basketball hoop, picnic tables, swimming raft, a large kid's play structure, grassy areas and gently sloping lake entry. A two minute walk down the road will lead you to a lake access where dogs are allowed, this location is even more secluded and private which makes it a great place to spend the day too! Both areas are wonderful for swimming! There is even another beach access at the other end of the road, just a 5 minute walk away.
World class golf resort, Predator Ridge, and Sparkling Hill Wellness Resort, are just 10 minutes away with driving range, golf course, restaurants, coffee bars and other amenities.
Coral Beach is 10-15 minutes away from great restaurants (winery, greek, italian, mediterranean, sushi and more). The drive to the house is breathtaking, with expansive views of Okanagan Lake – the road winds along the hillside past orchards selling their fresh fruit. The house is just 13 minutes from Winfield town center which includes two grocery stores, a small market, a post office, a great butcher, two liquor stores, banking, two pharmacies, gas stations, a seasonal Friday farmer’s market, a Kangaroo Petting Zoo/Farm and more!
Lake Country is the proud home to four Award Winning Wineries for you to discover; Ex Nihilo Vineyards, Arrowleaf Cellars and Gray Monk Estate Winery - all less than 13 minutes away and newly added 50th Parallel Estates just 1 minute away! Gray Monk also offers fine dining at The Grapevine Restaurant; excellent food with European flair situated on large open air patio overlooking beautiful Okanagan Lake and the mountains.
There are numerous walking and hiking trails for all levels throughout Lake Country, some are mountainous with amazing vistas and others meander along the lakeside.
For those seeking other amenities of a rural community we are pleased to offer you a museum, Creekside Theatre and the Barn Gallery/ Life space studio. You are also able to tour our fruit industry business which includes orchards, farm bakeries and cafes.
In the spring, fall and winter enjoy the tranquility of having Coral Beach almost all to yourself; take a long walk, chat with the local deer, curl up with a great book by the fire while enjoying the gorgeous views of Okanagan Lake and the snow covered mountains.
If you like snow sports you will not be disappointed - enjoy great downhill on fresh Okanagan powder – 50 minutes to Silver Star and 55 minutes to Big White. If cross country or snowshoeing is more your style both hills offer great trails, and we are also 50 minutes away from world class Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre. If there is snow in the valley, there are numerous local areas to cross country ski as well.
All linens are provided. There is no land telephone line, but there is fair cell coverage upstairs in the home. Check in time is 4 pm, Check out time is 10 am.
Our home is located in a quiet residential area so absolutely no loud music, parties and/or excessive noise are permitted. Our home is best suited to small families or couples traveling together, and as such, we have a maximum of 6 guests (including children).
We love this house and area and know you will too! We have a “house manual” that includes all our recommendations and suggestions for nearly everything. The Central Okanagan truly offers just about everything you can think of, so whether you want to relax and do nothing or get out and experience the incredible Okanagan lifestyle – you’re in the right place!
We love traveling, golfing, the outdoors and great food! When traveling our favorite accommodation choice is always vacation rentals so we really get to experience living like locals. We have made every effort to ensure our guests enjoy their time in our home.

Having traveled extensively we realize that Coral Beach is truly a gem. The abundance of outdoor beauty, the seclusion and privacy of this little residential area, the crystal clear waters of Okanagan Lake, the sunset views of the Monashee Mountains yet the easy access to World Class golf resorts, wineries, ski resorts and restaurants is what makes this place amazing.
In summer guests can enjoy cherries and peaches from our trees in the front yard, a garden of fresh, delicious herbs and hopefully even some produce if we can keep the deer away from the garden buffet.
In winter guests can enjoy the peace and tranquility of our home and area with two high end gas fireplaces to keep you cozy; gazing at the lake or reading a book snuggled on the couch never felt so good!
We've had a wonderful week. This feels like home, but better. We loved watching the sunsets as we ate supper on the deck. Wyatt (dog) loved the cool grass in the backyard and the lake!

The property was immaculate, very well appointed, including oodles of toys for the children to enjoy. A very short walk to the beach area (remember water shoes as the Coral beach is technically rocks), our children thoroughly enjoyed the swimming area, small play park and we made use of the tennis courts.
This home is very well maintained and was scrupulously clean when we arrrived. We all enjoyed the quiet location. (The park across the street can get a bit noisy on the weekend but it's quiet at night.) The shady backyard was great for hot afternooons and the toddlers enjoyed all the toys and the wading pool and didn't want to come home. We hope to return next year.
This was an excellent place to stay for a very enjoyable holiday:) Steps from the lake, with a playground for the kids and also tennis courts…which we all battled it out with the rackets provided:) The house was incredible equipped with top of the line appliances which were definitely used with love and difficult to say goodbye to:( It was nice to pick raspberries and ripe tomatoes for breakfast every morning…wish we had come when the apricots were ripe…next time! Every possible thing we could possibly need was provided and available to us. The owners were very nice and helpful and were available to speak to at anytime. Also enjoyed all the vineyards being do close…50th parallel is in walking/crawling distance! We made it to the Gray Monk for a lovely relaxing dinner with breath taking views! We were all very grateful for our time spent at Carr's Landing and will definitely be staying again next year.
Nothing but good things to say about this property! In fact we are already looking to book for next year! The booking process was seamless, and we arrived to a very clean and organized home. Kitchen is gorgeous and the side and back patios are perfect for morning/afternoon sun. Our puppy loved the glass railing and great view of the water and the doggie beach 3 mins away (and muchly appreciated the little doggie basket filled with toys and water bowls etc) We loved the public beach 1 min away as well as the 50th Parallel winery nearby. We were very happy that the house had AC as it was 38deg during our stay! Would definitely recommend!
From the moment we entered the house, we were all saying "Wow!". The well equipped gourmet kitchen, the lovely living room with amazing views, two patios (one in the shade with a fan!), peaceful back yard, stuff to play with (for kids and adults), close proximity to the lake and wineries, opportunities for star gazing - this oasis has it all! The house was spacious for 3 couples and a dog. We highly recommend this beautiful retreat.
