Set in the peaceful and beautiful countryside of the Haute-Vienne this self-catering accommodation consists of a lovely wooden chalet situated beside its own private carp lake. There is a pool and terrace, children's play area, bbq and plenty of room for the kids( if you bring any!) to play. The chalet has 2 bedrooms which sleep up to 5, a kitchen/living room, mezzanine and separate shower room and toilet. It is suitable for families or for small groups of friends. The lake was stocked last year with a mix or common and miror carp up to 32lbs.

Situated in a beautiful rural setting the wooden chalet is set beside your own private carp lake. Whether you like fishing , just relaxing by the lake or cooling off in the water this would be ideal for a small group of friends or a family. The river Gartempe is only 300m away, the beautiful beach lake of Lac de Pont à L'Age is 10 mins drive away, the massive Lac de St Pardoux is 25mins drive away where you can canoe, wind surf, fish or swim. Walking and cycling are very popular local activities. Supermarkets and hypermarkets are 10-20 mins drive away whilst the nearby village of Folles is 1 min drive or 10 mins walk where there is a bar/restaurant, post office, hairdressers and grocery shop. The capital of the Haute-Vienne region, Limoges, is just a 30 mins drive away. Poiiers and the theme park Futuroscope is a 1.5hour drive away.

Notes: If you have kids there is a childrens play area by the chalet plus a large grassy area for them to run around on. The is a picnic bench on the terrace plus a couple of fishing chairs. The English, French speaking, owners live at the front of the lake, well out of your way but near enough should you need any assistance.
