Feel like Royalty in Venice!

I brought three friends to Palazzo Albrizzi in April of 2012. This splendid apartment surpassed all our expectations - the great food from the housekeeper (Wonderful saffron arancici!), the regal entry hall and stunning rooms. The patio (huge by Venetian standards) was where we spent as much time as we could, overlooking the small piazza and local children in a small school - we really felt like we lived there!
Close to everything - 5 mins to Rialto bridge, yet quiet and private. This is well worth staying at, and surpisingly good value, considering what you COULD spend in Venice. The owner could perhaps provide better bath/shower curtains. There was a little stress with the housekeeper about the potential for water splashing out of a tub into the apartment and frescoes below, which was difficult to avoid , but this was the ONLY hiccup. Highly recommended
Owner's Response: Michael, thank you very much for your wonderful review and I'm glad you felt like a venetian in Venice, this is what renting a house is all about, isn't it? Whats the point in being in a claustrophobic hotel room with fake antiques furniture when you can have 700 sq. mt. with a home cook all for you? As for the curtains, we'll work on that for sure!
