This privately owned detached Vila is situated at ALTURA, Algarve and is approximately 45 minutes from Faro Airport. The Vila has three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large lounge with T.V. and a very large fully equipped kitchen and dining room, including washing machine. A large garden with fruit trees (oranges and lemons) sun loungers, garden table and chairs, also a barbecue. All linen except towels is supplied and will be changed at least once a week. VILA EDUARDO is ideally positioned with only a short stroll to the beach. Close to the shops, fruit and vegetable market, bars and restaurants. ALOGOA is the local beach. The warmest part of the sea on the whole of the Portuguese coast line.

MONTE GORDO is just 3 miles to the east, where there are Disco’s and the Casino and many shops, bars and restaurants. Further on the riverside border town of VILA REAL DE ST.ANTONIO from where there are frequent ferries to Spain. In the opposite direction you can visit the lovely old fishing port of TAVIRA. Shoppers can browse through the main market and the restaurants at the quayside are noted for their seafood.

Golf: There are a number of Golf clubs within 5-7 miles rom the Vila. They are Castro Marim, wonderful club and excellent food for lunch or dinner, Quinta do Vale, Jack Nicklaus designed course Monte Rei, Quinta de Cima, Quinta da Ria, Benamor, with many more being built.

I recently stayed at this Vila for a week and found that is was ideally located to be within easy walking distance to all of the facilitites, restaurants and bars, but in a quieter location of Altura. Vila is larger than it appears in the pictures and was clean and comfortable. The Vila is near the bus stops and it is very easy to get the local bus to other towns and attractions that Portugal has to offer.

The owner of the Vila was fantastic and gave a lot of useful information on local activities and general tips to enhance the stay.

I would recommend this Vila to others to stay if they would like a quieter relaxing holiday rather than a pub / club scene.

A very enjoyable and relaxing time, highly recommended!
