Sandstone fireplace in the great room with beautiful open kitchen and living room complete with breakfast bar and built-in corner bench dining area that seats 6. Master suite with king-sized bed and private spacious master bath, additional full bath downstairs with claw foot tub and shower, then wind up the stairs to a quaint loft-style enclosed bedroom with queen sized bed, note that ceilings are lower in this room as there are many angles, only 5'9' at highest peak. Majestic views from every room. Relax with a glass of wine on the covered porches while overlooking the lush pond and enchanting wildlife that it attracts. 5 stars. We had a great time at the property. Nice and secluded but only a 10 minute walk or 4 minute bike ride right into Los Olivos. Would recommend it to others.

First class excellent. Owned and built by a builder, Mark did an amazing job making this a joy to stay in.
All conveniences first class.
Beautiful settings and surroundings.
The rental agent Laura is professional as well, making the rental process a breeze.
We met Mark and told him "we want to buy it." He gave a short laugh and aid that's what everyone says.
Were I to build a place I would want him to design and build it.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

My wife and I with the dog stayed here for a month in January 2013. It was a wonderful visit! The house is great and the privacy is terrific. Nature abounds the property. Mark and Laura are such excellent hosts and made us feel welcome and were there when needed. Certainly worth a return visit!

Truly the most amazing setting. Very private and yet so close to Los Olivos. We used the bikes to go into town, and enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evening and watching the birds and a family of deer 50 feet away stop to drink at the pond. The kitchen was great to cook in and the bathtub was nice and deep.

My husband and I loved our stay in this beautifully crafted Los Olivos home. The owner is a builder and the house is really tastefully done with a modern cabin feel. The outdoor surroundings are so beautiful - we soaked up the gorgeous views with breakfast on the wraparound deck every morning. The kitchen is well stocked and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom is spacious with a rain shower. Great location - easy walk or drive to town which has some cute shops and nice restaurants. This was a great location from which to explore wine country. We hope to make it back some day - thanks Mark!!
