This house is all about being right on the water. A seawall provides protection from waves at high tide. At low tide, the sandy beach is calm and well protected by an extensive reef off shore. Due to its unique location(see map) the beach is quiet and secluded. Creature comforts include: Mini-split air conditioner, WiFI, and wireless Sonos music system that streams music of your choice with a touch of a button. Extensive library of TV shows and movies streamed through the TV via Netflix. Bedroom features a pillow top King bed with plush hotel quality sheets and overhead ceiling fan. Tiled shower with luxury towels. 2 single futons(folding- 6 inch foam mattresses) complete with sheets, pillows and comforters for extra beds on the floor in the great room.(great for kids) These are meant to be folded and stacked during the day. Large ceiling fan in the great room circulates the cooled air. With the air conditioner, you can keep the windows closed to minimize road noise. Off shore breeze keeps mosquitoes at bay. Portable gas barbecue for grilling on the patio. Fully stocked kitchen allows you to eat in and feel at home.
Favorite things to do: 1) Daily walk along the beach to Hauula bay-great place for a daily swim. 2) Go to a new beach each day. 3) If you don't mind a bit of traffic around Sunset beach and the sea turtles at Laniakea AND you need to cool off - take a drive to Haleiwa for shave ice and a stand up paddle board lesson. 4)Explore the road less traveled, south towards Kaneohe-Kailua area all the way to Waimanalo beach.
Other than that, sit back and relax in your own private slice of Hawaii. Aloha!

I grew up on Oahu and we go back every year to visit family and friends. We have rented several beach homes over the years but our favorite memories are from small places right on the water. We bought this place with those memories in mind. The lack of crowds and local vibe makes us feel like we have come home.
Jeffrey Bell purchased this house in 2011
The northshore was always a favorite place to hang out. But I rarely ventured out to Hauula, because it seemed 'too far away' from it all. Now, 30 years later, 'too far away' is a good thing if you know what I mean.
The beach area is secluded due to its private location. Feels more like a home with neighbors unlike a resort destination. Plenty of food nearby- Tamura's market and local eats. Papa Ole's serves the best loco moco and the Hukilau Cafe in Laie is great. Romy's shrimp shack in Kahuku is a must do. Favorite North Shore beaches up the road include Waimea Bay, Sharks Cove, and Three Tables; or drive south to Lanikai in Kailua.
Close to Polynesian cultural center and Kualoa Ranch.
We had a grand time during our stay. The beach house was just right for the 4 of us. Lovely view of the ocean. Easy access to the beach using the ladder provided. The 3 younger folks went snorkelling every day, They finally got Grandma, age 78, Down to the beach using the ladder in 2 stages. There are lots of colourful fish close to shore and farther out and pretty coral, too. I (Grandma) had not snorkelled in the ocean for 42 years when I lived in California, so that was really great for me! Thank you so much.
I have rented many holiday houses over the years and I must say this one tops the list. Not only did I feel completely at home but the location was second to none. I loved being away from the rush of the city and being right on the ocean was a huge bonus. The sites on the North Shore where my favorite of our entire trip. The house was very clean and well stocked. We never had any issues getting in or out of the driveway. We took a NCL cruise the week after this house rental and my husband and I agree that the house was one of the best parts of our trip. I would definitely recommend this house to friends and family and we are hoping to revisit it again....soon! Thank you so very much Jeffrey!
Beautiful and peaceful get away home from the crowds. My husband and I had a lovely and tranquil time there. Super close to the "popular" North Shore beaches. We could have stayed out on the back porch all day enjoying the view and watching the whales off in the distance jumping out of the water. The house was very nicely decorated and very clean, and the kitchen well equipped for making meals. We especially loved the music system! Planning on coming back next year and bringing the kids! Thank you Jeffrey! Lovely home!
perfect house.great location, beautiful beach.it is a wonderful vacation with my 5 years old daughter.thanks bell.will come back again.
The beach house is as pictured. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. The house is very clean and has all the amenities. You can walk on the beach a few feet north or south of the house. It is on the quieter side of the island, and it serves as a good home base for sightseeing and a relaxing place to unwind.
First time getaway to Hawaii for us. My husband and I had the most incredible experience here and will definitely be back. Our rental home was PERFECT, even better than we expected. If and when we ever get to go back...we will definitely stay here again. Nice quiet location but close enough to North Shore, Honolulu and Waikiki too. Highly recommend this rental!
