Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 1.5+ Baths, (Sleeps 6)

This deluxe 2 bedroom corner unit (approx. 900 sq.ft) has an open living plan with a beautiful, private mountain view. Restaurants, activities, small grocery and liquor store, and shops are all a 5 minute walk away. Fully renovated in 2009! Beautifully decorated, granite counters, fir doors/trim, slate flooring and high-end fixtures throughout. You won't be disappointed. The northeast facing corner living room offers a lovely view of local mountains and a gas fireplace. The comfy sofa, perfect for curling up by the fire, also converts to a queen bed for extra sleeping space. The dining table seats 4, plus there are 3 stools at the breakfast nook. Flat screen TV, CD/stereo, and DVD player in the living room. Free high speed internet. One bathroom has a beautifully tiled large shower. The ensuite bathroom has a deep soaker tub. The full kitchen is adorned with beautiful glass pane cabinets, granite counters and GE Profile stainless steel appliances (fridge, stove, dishwasher). If you enjoy a quiet dinner at home, the kitchen is fully stocked with small appliances, cookware and utensils, dishes and flatware. Or you could just order in. The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and wall mounted TV. The second bedroom has queen size bunk beds with a sliding glass door that opens onto the patio. The corner patio offers a peaceful forest view and grassy area for more living space in the summer and a place to make snowmen in the winter.

You can use the hot tub all year, especially after a long day on the mountain. In the summer you can swim in the pool or just lounge on the deck chairs. You have access to a secure locker room to keep your skis, boards or bikes safe during your stay. Shared laundry facilities are located one floor up. Free underground parking is provided. This is a non-smoking building. No pets please. The #5 Whistler Village free shuttle bus stops in front of our building and takes you right to Whistler Village and its spectacular restaurants and shopping or it is a pleasant 15-20 minute walk along the trails. Wizard Chair Lift on Blackcomb and cross country ski trails are a 5 minute walk or a 2 minute ski from the building. So, park your car for your whole vacation; you probably won't need it. We are located in the Wildwood Lodge on Spearhead Drive (just up the hill from the Fairmont Chateau Whistler). Our Wildwood condo includes a daytime concierge desk, staffed 365 days per year, to assist you during your visit. This great location is close to it all in a quiet setting. Great Weekend Retreat

We stayed there with another couple and had an exceptional time. A nice modern kitchen with spacious rooms made this a very comfortable weekend retreat. The communal hot tub was a definite plus, and it being only a short walk to the upper village makes the location perfect.
The entire place was very clean with everything you might need. We will definitely stay there again.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Our family of 4 (2 kids, 12 & 9) stayed here over Christmas. Very classy and comfortable furnishings, which is a feature often forgotten in these condos. The beddings, the chairs, couches, all very comfortable. Open concept kitchen area worked well for Christmas dinner and hosting a couple of guests. Skied out directly to Blackcomb village and the lifts. Staff at the front desk was very friendly. Would be a great summer spot w/ close proximity to Lost Lake trail network.

In all, wish it were my own, not just a rental.
