Heber Cabin Rental Photos and Description
Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 7)
Our cozy cabin is the perfect setting for your small family get-together or those 'girls' weekends.' With a TV room large enough to seat 6, you can all settle in for an evening with the latest blockbuster movie or hang out on the back patio for dinner. The wood burning fireplace adds a wonderful warmth to the entire cabin. Happy hour on the front patio has always been our favorite place to congregate in the early evening before it is time to get dinner started.
With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, there is enough space for everyone to be together or to carve out time for yourself. The master bedroom offers a walk-in closet for extra storage. A jacuzzi bathtub will wash your cares away before you climb into the King bed with its fluffy down comforter. The Queen bedroom does have its own bathroom just across the hall. It is such a comfortable room complete with TV, DVD and Direct TV. The upstairs bedroom has the double bed that we have been told is the most comfortable mattress in the cabin. It also has two extra twin beds, so it is perfect for a couple or for two singles, or just as a bunk room for the kids. This room has its bathroom attached so it is a very private space.
While touting itself as a cozy mountain cabin, this log home was built in 2003 and has all modern features without giving up the wonderful rustic feel.

My Husband and I are in the flooring/ Interior Design Business in Phoenix. We both grew up in the midwest and wanted a place to take our three children where they could experience some of the change of seasons and small town life that we were both so blessed to have lived through. My Parents are part owners in the cabin with us and it has been a wonderful way for us to share some family vacations together and still feel like we have our own space. We still continue to use our cabin year round, just not as much as we did before as the children's lives have become busier with sports. We decorated our cabin in a very Ralph Lauren feel, one that reminds us both of home. We spend a lot of time there playing games and having movie marathons, going for walks and catching up with each other's lives. Definately living a slower pace of life. One of our favorite things is to just immerse ourselves into the local landscape and act like we live there full time. We hope you feel the same.
We chose this location in Overgaard, AZ after 'cabining' in Strawberry, AZ for 3 years because there were more ammenities. There were restaurants available when we wanted to go out, Grocery stores, video stores and a few fast food chains. Just enough to make you feel like you weren't cabin-bound. Show Low is also less than an hour away if you are up for more adventure. Often, we just get in the car and go for a drive and just see where we land. We just never know. It is a wonderful adventure. We also liked the location of our property. Even though it was in a neighborhood that offered a street for our kids to rides their bikes on, the back of our cabin opens to a wash and it feels like there is nothing but trees and no neighbors. It is very quiet and private on the lot, being at the end of a cul-de-sac. The property is also a mile from the National Forest if that is what you are looking for. Wintertime can be breathtaking if you are fortunate enough to be there during a mountain snowstorm! Having come from the midwest, we treasure those moments!
Enjoying the simplicity of small town life - from having store owners recognize us to attending their local bang-up 4th of July parade - has been an absolute treasure for us! Knowing that our children can ride their bikes and enjoy a little bit of summer freedrom or build a snowfort in the back yard, has been an experience our family will never forget.
