LARGE STONE COUNTRY VILLA, PRIVATE POOL, SLEEPS 6

Inca Villa Rental Photos and Description

Roomy indoor/outdoor living, hydro massage shower

A very attractive and spacious stone villa, set in the countryside a short 5 minute drive from Inca - a bustling town of 40,000 population in the middle of Mallorca.

The villa consists of 3 large double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with hydro massage shower), a very large dining room and dining table, which opens on to a living room with a smaller dining table, sofa and television. The kitchen is bright and functional, and has seating for 4.

Off the kitchen is a terrace which overlooks the garden, pool and countryside towards the mountains. This has a terrace table and sun umbrella, and leads down (4 steps) to the pool area. The pool size, at 10m x 4.5m is larger than average, and there are 4 luxurious teak wood pool loungers. There is a built in BBQ on the pool terrace, and areas of grass lawn for the children to play.

At the front of the house there is also a large covered porch, and an ample entrance and parking area, with a large automatic gate for security and privacy.

Island discovery: Villa Isabella is situated in quiet, peaceful countryside just 5 minutes drive from the town of Inca. Inca is in the centre of the island of Mallorca, and it is a perfect base from which to discover the rest of the island.

Palma is only 15 -20 mins drive on the motorway south of Inca. It is well worth a visit for shopping, or just wandering and taking in the atmosphere, lovely architecture, and numerous restaurants and bars. The cathedral and the old quarter are also not to be missed.

The mountains are also a very short drive from Inca, as it is closer to the west part of the island. The tramuntana, as it is known, is surprisingly higher than it looks for the size of the island, and takes the visitor to another world, far removed from the busy activity of the tourist beaches. Well worth a visit are the monastery of Lluch, Soller and Port of Soller, further south the charming village of Valldemossa ( where Chopin lived), and Deia. To the north is the historic town of Pollensa.

Beaches,Theme parks and Caves: The beautiful 12km long, white sandy beach of Alcudia is only 20 mins drive from Inca. Here there are boat trips to Formentor, catamaran trips, a hydro park, horse riding, or pony riding for smaller children. The beach also has kite surfing, windsurfing, banana boat rides, boat parachuting - as well as crystal clear water for excellent swimming!

Other beaches include the Port of Pollensa, Ca'n Picafort, and Son Serra de la Marina in the north. To the east is Cala Ratjada, Cala Millor, and Santanyi ( a naturist beach). Near Palma are the beaches of Arenal and Playa de Palma. Family attractions include Marineland, Aqua City, Palma Aquarium, Kathmandu, and night shows such as Son Amar ( dinner and show extravaganza), and the Pirate Show - all a short drive from Inca.

Also worth visiting are the Caves of Drach, at Porto Cristo - the deepest caves in Europe, with spectacular caverns, and a floating music concert. Closer are the Campanet Caves, smaller, but very also very beautiful.

Markets and local fare: Every Thursday morning, the town of Inca comes alive with the biggest market on the island. This bustling market attracts sellers and buyers alike, from all over the island, and there is a huge range of produce - great for a bargain, or just wander and be part of it.

Another market well worth a visit, is the farmer's market of Sineu ( 10 mins by car from Inca). This is held every Wednesday morning, and sells everything from live goats and puppies and kittens, to art and craft, to antiques!

Children especially enjoy seeing the animals. The neighbouring town of Campanet also has a market every Friday, and Alcudia every Sunday and Tuesday mornings.

As mentioned before, Inca is well known for it's leather industry, and there are many factory outlets selling shoes, bags, jackets and coats. 20 mins drive to the east is Manacor, which manufactures pearls ( it is home to the world famous Majorica pearls), plus ceramics, olive wood and liquor tasting.

FANTASTIC FINCA

  • 5 of 5
From the moment we arrived it was so easy to begin unwinding and relaxing at this rustic, rural finca. The interior was spotlessly clean on our arrival, and the pool was kept immaculately clean throughout our stay. It really did look every bit as good as the photos.

The owners (who live nearby) were friendly, helpful, and accommodating as is Helen, their agent who we dealt with through the booking process.

The property and location is ideal for anyone wanting to get away from it all and relax. Perfect for families and groups of friends. Car hire is essential though as the nearest supermarkets etc. are a few miles away in Inca.

Being centrally placed on the Island made it an excellent base from which to explore almost anywhere, with the furthest reaches of the Island being no more than about an hour away.

For meals out in the evening we particularly liked Port d' Pollensa which was about half an hour's drive way. It has a huge choice of restaurants, but has a relaxed atmosphere, and is not too commercialised.

Highly Recommended!

Owner's Response: Thank you to this family for their enthusiastic and complimentary review on Villa Isabella. As the advertiser/agent for this property, I couldn't have put it better myself!
As mentioned in the review, Villa Isabella has the best of both worlds - away from it all, yet close to everywhere on the island. In less than half an hours drive, you can be either high up in the Traumantana mountains, visiting the Monastery of Lluch, or sunbathing on the white sands of the Alcudia beach. And in 20 minutes drive on the motorway, you are in Palma - Mallorca's vibrant capital city!
Well situated, well maintained and cared for, this property is a gem, and certainly deserves its 5 star review!!

EXCELLENT FINCA

  • 5 of 5
Hi,

we stayed there for one week as the basis for our cycling trips. Its a huge finca with lots of space and seating areas inside and outside. The finca can cope with 3 couples giving each private rooms and 2 bathrooms. The finca is very clean, cozy and well equiped with everything you need, even satelite TV. The pool in the backyard is great, clean and with the ground light very stylish in the night. The landlord is very friendly.

Owner's Response: Villa Isabella is probably Mallorca's best kept secret, as far as interior locations on the island are concerned!
As well as for summer holiday makers, the villa is also growing in popularity with cyclists, who have long favoured Mallorca's diverse terrain for their training and leisure pursuits.
The authors of this review were the third group of cyclists to stay at the villa this year - a trend that is likely to continue and expand in the coming years as more and more cyclists discover the advantages of this lovely finca: its close proximity to the mountains, country and village cycling routes, only 20 mins to Palma, and a welcome dip in the pool after a hard days cycling!
Add to this the friendly and very hospitable nature of the owners, for whom nothing is too much trouble, and you have a winning combination, both for cyclists and family holidays alike.
Welcome back to previous guests, and welcome to first time guests, for the coming 2012 season!

A GREAT VILLA

  • 5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean and comfortable and had all of the home comforts you would need. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
There was ample room for our family of five with a lovely large dining area. Lovely outside dining areas to the front and rear of the property for al fresco eating!
Our three boys aged 14, 9 and 3 loved the pool and it kept them entertained for much of the week. The bbq area is a great added bonus too.
As the villa is central to the island we hired a car which i would highly recommend. The villa is only 25 minutes drive from Palma airport and we explored the island with most places taking no more than half an hour to reach.
I would highly recommend this villa and it would be my first port of call if i was to return to Mallorca.

OUR HOLIDAY IN VILLA ISABELLA - IT WAS GREAT!

  • 5 of 5
We spent our holiday in the first week of September 2013 in Villa Isabella and we really enjoyed it.
The owners Isabel and Ignacio were very friendly and helpful.
As we arrived in the afternoon, we were received by Isabel. In the kitchen we found a fridge, filled with many good things.
Isabel also brought us vegetables from her garden.
The villa was very clean and also the pool was kept clean during our stay.
It is essential to rent a car. The location is in the middle of the island, therefore the perfect basis for different trips.
We also hired a car and explored the whole island. We visited Palma, Valdemossa, Soller, Pollenca, …
We often spent our time on the beach “Playa de Muro”, it was very beautiful!
Now, back at home, we dream from our nice and relaxing holiday!

Owner's Response: Time and time again, holiday makers are enjoying the benefits of this wonderful property - not only the generous hospitality of the owners, but the central position which makes it an ideal base from which to explore the whole island. Welcome back to this family, who in writing this review, have highlighted precisely these great features!

EIN SUPER URLAUB AUF MALLORCA

  • 5 of 5
Although located in a quiet and peaceful country setting, this lovely villa is just a 5 min. drive from Inca, a bustling town of 40,000 pop. which is well known for its leather industry - great shopping for leather shoes, bags and jackets! In the surrounding area of Inca, there are many picturesque villages, such as Caimari, Moscari, Biniamar, all nestled along charming country lanes, which meander through fields of olive and almond groves.

The mountains of Mallorca are just a 20 min drive from Inca, where a visit to the monastery of Lluch is a must, and nearby, a natural spring water swimming pool complete with waterfall, for a cool dip with a difference! Continuing along the mountain road to the south is the town of Soller, with a little open carriage train down to the port, and an historic train ride to Palma, through spectacular mountain scenery. To the north is Pollensa, a charming town to visit. Close to Inca is the Festival Park, with shops, cinemas and restaurants.
