La Perla has the best view in Pedregal; horizontal landscape over the infinity edge pool of the Pacific ocean & the beach high atop Pedregal yet could still hear the surf & waves crashing. The listing description & photos were reflective of the home & amenities. We cooked big breakfasts & dinners each day & the only drawback was the oven/stove is outdated but all other appliances were ample for our amateur gourmet meals. We really spent all day outside enjoying the pool & hot tub but also liked the airy & bright inside as it felt like we were truly in Mexico as the house features wood carved doors, high stone cupolas, wooden shutters instead of draperies & traditional handpainted Talavera tiles (the fish tile in the downstairs bathroom is precious!) The layout of La Perla worked well for our foursome; four pool lounge chairs, four places to sit in living room, although bedrooms & dining area provided for many more. We also enjoyed daily & very thorough housekeeping, lots of towels for pool & bath, washer & dryer, Vontage local & USA free phone service & Wi-Fi. 2 Cabo tours was very helpful & patient in answering all questions on a timely basis both before & during our visit & we would use again. I recommend taking advantage of the in-home spa services as it was wonderful to enjoy a massage & then not have to walk or drive back. The spa personnel offered a variety of services & were professional, clean & brought spa tables & all products so it felt like a true spa experience. Our favorite new restaurant on this visit was Soloman's Landing (near the Wyndham hotel) for lobster & Tequila's in San Jose Cabo. We also discovered the Mega grocery halfway between the airport & Pedregal & prefer this to Costco or WalMart plus there is the smaller grocery store at Super Mercado Plaza closer to Pedregal with a limited offering. GO! ENJOY!! RELAX!!!
