The Shepherds Bush Cottage has just undergone a major renovation programme and the end result is a beautiful two bedroom property offering first class accommodation and facilities. The quaint front garden greets you upon arrival and on entering the cottage you cannot help but be impressed by the spacious and bright open-plan contemporary style reception area and the very high standard of furnishings and decor throughout. The sitting room has two large comfortable sofas, feature fireplace and upright piano. The dining area offers seating for five people . Just off the dining area is the large and very well equipped brand new kitchen with pine table and chairs. Glass French doors lead to the back garden with plants and shrubs plus an additional outside WC. Upstairs is the master with a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. The newly fitted bathroom, which is fully tiled in white and blue is complete with both bath and overhead shower as well as basin and WC.

Located in a quiet street of Georgian cottages yet in the heart of Shepherds Bush, West London with all it's great transport links. and selection of great shops, Shepherds Bush Central Line tube station is at the end of the street and the Hammersmith and City Line tube station is under five minutes walk. Dozens of buses pass through Shepherds Bush taking you to all central London locations, such as Marble Arch, Oxford Street, South Kensington and Trafalgar Square to name a few. Masses of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and pubs in the immediate area as well as the famous Shepherds Bush Theatre, the BBC, the famous colourful large street market and now Europe's largest newly opened Westfield London Shopping and Cinema complex. The celebrated Portobello Market and fashionable Holland Park and both within a short bus ride away.

It is always hoped that when you arrive at a property that it will be as lovely as the description you have read on the website. This propery is certainly not a disappointment! We were met by the lovely owner who was happy to show us around and make sure that we had everything we needed. A real home from home and we were made to feel very welcome. The property is immaculate and you will find everything you need to make your stay very easy - plenty of towels, nice clean bedding, even washing powder!

The property is actually in a row of Georgian cottages and as you look down the street it is as if it is in a time warp because it is in such contrast to the shopping centre and tube station which are literally 5 minutes away. Dont be put off though by the closeness of these services. They only added to the enjoyment and convenience of our stay. You are not disturbed by the life that is Shepherds Bush once you approach the cottage. It's fantastic! Within a 5 minute walk of the cottage you can be on a tube going into the City, eating in a lovely restaurant, spending some money at the Westfield shopping centre, buying a ticket at the cinema, or stocking up at the local supermarket - the Waitrose there can be recommended!

To sum up, this is an ideal property to use as a base for a break to London. It is a charming cottage that has a fully modern bathroom and kitchen. It is ideally located for all your sightseeing needs yet lovely and quiet once you are in the property. We will be booking to go there again!

The most memorable stay!

We arrived from 25 hours of flying to find the most stunning cottage set in a quiet lane less than a hundred metres from the underground..............after opening the pickett fence we looked at the beautiful flowers and proceeded to go into the cottage to find alage modern lounge room with fresh flowers on the dinning table..
I stayed here for the three weeks and we were sad to leave .Staying in a place where the owner has thought of everything truly makes a difference.The clean white linen on the beds,the the new fully equiped kithcen,the front and back gardens and the comfort of having such a large place in central london all made my holiday here a memorable one!! Thankyou thankyou
