We are a kamaaiana couple who are in the luxury hotel business. We lived in Honolulu for 25 years. We were on the mainland for 10 years and have recently returned to Hawaii. We are managing this one apartment and are therefore accessible for any problems that may arise.

This is the very best location in all the Hawaiian Islands. It has the most consistently good weather and is conveniently located to enjoy all that Oahu has to offer. It is easy to drive in and out of, avoiding all of the Waikiki traffic. It is very much a residential area, within walking distance of 100s of restaurants and other amenities.
Just steps from the beach on one side and fabulous walking trails in the park and on the crater on the other side. Easy access to all of Honolulu. Best chance of sunny weather most of the time. Friendly, low-key building where you can mix with local people and not just tourists.
We have just arrived back from a month in this wonderful apartment. This was our second stay and we're booking again next year. To me, this is the mark of a great property and holiday, when, at the end you can't wait to come back again.
The owners are a pleasure to deal with and live locally so if you have any problems are easily contactable and they often email to let you know what's going on in the area. The apartment is stylish, clean, bright, well equipped and perfectly located and has ocean views from the lanai where we ate most of our meals. It's right by the beach and park and only a walk to Waikiki for drinks or shopping. The car park makes it easy if you have rented a car as it's so simple to drive in and out of without the hassle of being in the middle of town. It's a great choice.
I stayed here for a month in Apr 2014. This Condo offers close proximity to Waikiki without the bustling nighttime noise of the city. Walking distance to Waikiki is only 3 miles, but a bus stop is located immediately adjacent to the property. Oahu Bus Transit is among the finest in the world. The included parking spot is nice if your prefer to drive. Walks around Diamond Head are a 4.75 mile round-trip journey and help work up a good appetite. Prefer to swim? There is laddered entrance available just a few hundred feet from the private gated ocean access. Open shower facilities await within the gated area upon return. Permanent residents (Bob & Bill) take great care of the entire complex while the owners of this rental unit are very eager to please. The Ocean front patio provides spectacular sunset views.

This is our second stay at this beautiful condo. It is furnished tastefully and very clean. We appreciated having a parking place as most condos on the Gold Coast do not. Also, the in-unit washer/dryer was very useful. It is located in a small building with very friendly occupants - we got to know several people at the nightly beachside gathering for wine and sunset viewing. We walked to several restaurants in Waikiki and had lunch at the Hau Tree Lanai which is just a couple buildings away. The owners are right in Honolulu and are very responsive when questions come up. We will be back next year!
This one-bedroom condo has everything you need for enjoying the Waikiki area. The patio is literally steps away from the ocean and the lanai has a perfect view of the sunsets. The Castle Surf is a great starting point for hikes around DiamondHead and the different scenery associated with Waikiki. Finally, the condo is spotless and the owners are anxious to make their renters happy.
We had the best holiday in this Diamond Head apartment. It's in a fantastic position next to the Elk's and Outrigger clubs, a couple of minutes walk to Sans Souci beach and park or you can swim and relax on the little beach in front of the complex. It's also an easy walk into Waikiki for cocktails, dinner or shopping. The apartment was much bigger than it looked in the photos, clean and attractively furnished. It was easy to maintain which made for a very relaxing holiday. The apartment is light and airy with great cross breezes. The lanai is very private and we ate most of our meals there enjoying the views of the paddle boarders, surfers and spectacular rainbows.The owners are experienced hoteliers which shows in every aspect of the rental from first contact through to the return of our security deposit. We will definitely be returning and recommending to our friends.
This spotless and well decorated one bedroom condo was perfect for my need to escape from the winter weather. The condo complex has a patio area where I sat and read books or viewed the ocean from a distance of about ten feet. In the late afternoon, the condo lanai has an excellent view of the sun setting over the ocean. Waikiki is a short walk away. A bonus was having a Fairy Tern with her new chick nesting on a tree limb just outside the condo entrance. The owner was very helpful in every way. I will be returning.
