A peaceful setting, enhanced by your ability at any time to walk out the living area through glass doors onto private deck alive with nature's peace. This is a very comfortable nice house about a 7 minute drive to the ocean, located in a wooded area. Kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable, somewhat older TV in master bedroom but not a big deal. Lots of light, reminds me of an Eicler style house. Nice deck off the dining room.Very afforadable for the area and close to golf.

Great location and perfect for relaxing

We've stayed at this property several times and love it everytime we come. The home is cozy with comfortably furninshings. We love to have cocktails on the back deck enjoying the view of the forest, or curling up with a good book in the sunny living room.
It's close to everything; downtown Carmel, Montery Bay and Pacific Grove, but you can always return to the quiet forest location.
The photos don't do the property justice. As I said, it is a lovely place with all the comforts of home. The bed in the master suite is really comfortable!
It is perfect for a romantic getaway, or just as accessible for a family. We've also had fun girls only getaways.
I would definitely recommend this property.

We loved the Alston's house. It was like a tree house in the 17 mile drive. Very quiet and romantic, yet close to golf, beaches, and downtown Carmel.
