I love it's proximity to all the places I like to go; downtown, hip strip, University, The Rattlesnake Wilderness area, Pattee Canyon, Sentinel, Mt Jumbo and all the nearby rivers.
The house is lovely and has great energy and the yard is peaceful, quiet and beautiful.
I really enjoyed my month long stay. The owner was very accommodating and easy to get ahold of when needed. Great location close to everything you'd want to do in Missoula!
My wife and I stayed at Rosemary's Slant Street Bungalow in Missoula. We greatly enjoyed the time we spent there. It is a convenient central location for getting to downtown or the University. We were able to walk many places without using our car. The outside temperatures were quite frigid, but we stayed comfortable inside by the cozy gas fireplace. The kitchen was wonderful for cooking meals, which saved helped keep costs down. Rosemary was very helpful for suggesting nearby hiking to enjoy the local area. It was also appreciated that she was particular in her care of this lovely home. We are so glad we chose to stay there instead of a motel. Highly recommend staying there for days or even weeks.
We loved this little house and the location was terrific...convenient to downtown and University of Montana. Rosemary, the owner, was very accommodating and told us things to do, including two farmer's markets and an arts and crafts market. Missoula is a great town. We were only there four days and wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend Montana and Missoula and Rosemary's Slant Street Bungalow.
This little two bedroom home worked so well for our month long stay in Missoula. Rosemary, the owner, was especially accommodating to our curious grandson who made himself right at home in her yard and gardens. This house is conveniently located for everything from downtown Missoula activities to day trips to the mountains or rivers. Nice kitchen, comfy beds, roomy living room and a great front porch where we started each day with our morning coffee.
My family of 4 stayed here for 4 days and nights. The house was very clean, easy to use and comfortable, in a quite and what appeared to be a safe neighborhood. I enjoyed walking every morning to downtown Missoula for bakery and coffee. My wife and our kids also found it an easy safe walk to the downtown area which always seemed to have something interesting to do. For further excursions, (sight-seeing, grocery shopping) we found it easy to drive out from and return to the house. I would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting a place to vacation out of.
This was a great well kept home. It had everything we needed to have a great week in Missoula and was close to everything in town. Easy to walk, bike or drive anywhere that we needed or wanted to be.
