Furnished and fitted to the highest possible standard with no expense spared you will find it comfortable, private and peaceful. A perfect retreat yet within walking distance of CALHETA BEACH where you have a marina offering deep sea fishing or whale/dolphin-spotting boat trips, a sandy beach with safe sea swimming and a variety of restaurants and cafés, a supermarket and ATM. The Calheta Beach Hotel offers wonderful massages and health treatments and all day pampering.

Calheta is on the South West Coast of Madeira, which is classed as the sunniest side of the most beautiful Island of flowers. The town is situated right on the coast where there is a man made white sandy beach for safe swimming and bucket and spades are reinvented. There are sunloungers available for your comfort and places from where you can buy a drink or an ice cream. There is also a thriving marina filled with the most interesting yachts and cruisers and from where one can book deep sea fishing trips for merlin and more or whale and dolphin watching. Along the side of the marina there are interesting bars and restaurants some of which offer high standard entertainment for the young of heart. Adjoining there is a hotel where one can pamper oneself book a massage,beauty treatment or just have manicure and hairdressing. For the more energetic one can paraglide above it all

  • THE RATES ABOVE ARE FOR 2 GUESTS PER WEEK. EACH ADDITIONAL GUEST IS CHARGED AT 70 EUROS PER WEEK. For bookings of less or more than 7 nights, the rental charge is calculated pro rata.
    Included: Fresh linen, towels, changed weekly. Weekly cleaning.
    A cot and high chair is available by prior arrangement .
  • Bookings are handled by Tony who lives in Madeira and runs Island Homes Rentals Lda. Payments are accepted in euros by credit card or by electronic bank transfer. A 30% deposit must be paid at the time of booking with the balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival. If a booking is made within 6 weeks of arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking.
