Shorewind Place has a spacious open concept design with full kitchen, dining area, living room, one bathroom, deck, private hot tub, partial harbour/mountain view, and large private backyard. Our location is private and quiet and we ask our guests to respect that. Local fine art from the Shorewind Gallery decorates the suite. Enjoy the best of Tofino in this large, three bedroom suite.

About The Owner

My name is Jessica Desilets and I have lived in Tofino for the past 12 years with my husband Lance Desilets. We opened up our own art gallery( Shorewind Gallery ) in the heart of Tofino in 2005. My husband and I also own a fishing charter business( Lance's Sportfishing Adventures ) as well.

The Owner purchased this house in 2009

We built our house in this location because its in the middle of everything! Great location! A few minute walk to town and you can jump on the bike path located minutes from our front door and walk to all the local beaches.

Belting time in TOFINO!

Hi. Shorewind Place was perfect for my family's trip to Tofino! The property is close to everyting, clean and kitted out for everything we needed. With a fully functioning kitchen, big rooms, comfortalble living area and amazing hot tub! Jessica and Lance made sure that we had everything we needed and were very professional. We also went fishing with Lance and we went to the hot springs....would highly suggest! Thanks so much, and will defo come out again!!!!! lots of love xxx

This was absolutely the perfect spot to recharge just before winter. The house is close to town and the waterfront, extremely comfortable and nicely decorated. It was equipped with everything you’d ever need, just as we expected from the photos and description posted on the listing . Our hosts Jessica and Lance were lovely people who totally respected our privacy. Lance took us fishing and we caught a nice Coho, and pulled out a trap full of great crab that went virtually straight from the ocean into the steamer and onto our table…a wonderful feast. Lance was a terrific great guide and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves out on the water. We look forward to returning.

GREAT HOSTS, GREAT ACCOMODATION....EXCELLENT FISHING CHARTER!!!

We have stayed with these great folks on 3 occasions now. Jess and Lance are excellent hosts. The apartment is well laid out, always clean and nicely furnished.The posted pictures, while nice, do not do this accomodation justice. We enjoyed using the barbeque and the hot tub, and the location is within walking distsnce of town. Lance and Jess are well known about town, and they are very knowledgeable about the area and the local attractions. We would definitely recommend this accomodation to anyone - in fact we have had several relatives stay there as well - on our recommendation - and they all loved it.

Lance is one of the best fishing guides we have ever gone out with. We limited out on Springs, then he took us "inside" to fish for Coho with light tackle - what a scream! Limited out on Coho too. Everyone, including a couple of "local" NHLers is asking Lance where the fish are! LOL!!

We will be back there again in July and are looking forward to seeing this great couple and the nice town of Tofino again.

Home Away From Home

My family and I have stayed at Shorewind Place half a dozen times when visiting Tofino. It is like home away from home. Each and every time we have stayed there, the suite is immaculately clean and always welcoming. All the bedrooms are cozy and the beds are comfortable. We love the in-suite laundry and laid back west coast style. The outdoor hot tub is the perfect remedy for our tired aching feet after an afternoon stroll into town or to the nearby beaches. We highly recommed Shorewind Place to all our family and friends. If you are looking for a one night getaway or want to spend a few days exploring Tofino, this is the place to stay!!
