It has won the coveted Golf Monthly Gold Award and offers something for every ability. The area is steeped in history, with Bowood Park once forming a part of the 13th century deer park owned by Edward Prince of Wales formerly known as The Black Prince.
Local Area: Located near the A39 in between Bude and Wadebridge we are ideally situated for your holiday. Nearby villages include Boscastle, Rock, Polzeath, Padstow, Tintagel, Port Isaac. Local towns within 30 mins driving distance are Wadebridge, Bude and Bodmin. Within an hours drive are many places to visit such as Eden with it's magnificant domes, Blue Reef Aquariam, Crealy Adventure Park for children and natural wonders such as St. Nectans Glen and the River Camel and Estuary. The City of Truro with it's cathedral and Theatre 'Hall for Cornwall' may be for you or perhaps Charlestown Shipwreck Centre or the ruins of Tintagel Castle may interest you. National Trust properties locally include Lanhydrock House, Trelissick Gardens, Cotehele House, Cornish Mines and Engines and Tintagel Old Post Office. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are within visiting distance as is Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway and Bodmin Jail Courtroom experiance. The list is endless....
