Apartment is located 10 min walk from public transport, mini markets open 7/7, pubs, restaurants, wine bar. A car is recommended to those with mobility problems.

Quiet and peaceful, yet only 5 minutes drive from one of Malta's largest tourist resorts - St Pauls Bay, Qawra and Bugibba. Malta's nicest sandy beaches are also found within 10/15 minutes drive - Golden Bay, Riviera,

Ghadira and Armier Bay, Paradise Bay. Very close to the Gozo and Comino Ferry.

A heated spa is found on the front terrace overlooking Mistra Valley and one can enjoy the spectacular panorama while sipping a glass of wine. It also can be used as a Heated Splash Pool for children.

The Islands of Malta: The Maltese archipelago lies virtually at the centre of the Mediterranean, with Malta 93km south of Sicily and 288km north of Africa. St Paul's Bay - Xemxija: St Paul's Bay and its neighbours Bugibba and Qawra are Malta's largest, seaside resorts. They offer a variety of nightlife and leisure options. The coastline here has some wonderful open sea views and a vista across to St Paul's Island, where, according to legend, the ship carrying the Apostle is said to have been wrecked. The coastline promenade provides a long, though mostly level and easy walk from St Paul's Bay all the way to Qawra or Xemxija Bay. St Paul's Bay started life as a small fishing village. The parish church, built in 1617, was carefully restored after suffering heavy damage in World War II.

Feast at St Paul's Bay is celebrated on the last Sunday of July. The Islands must be visited at fiesta time for an insight into local life with all its colour and passions.

Our party of 5 really enjoyed staying at your beautiful apartment in Xemxija Heights. The position overlooking the Mistra valley to one side and Xemxija Bay to the other, was breathtaking. 

The apartment and terraces were well stocked, spacious, airy, very comfortable and clean. It was lovely to have the natural through breeze which meant we didn't really need to use the air conditioning.  We would certainly recommend it to our friends and family.

The apartments are so quiet, relaxing, private and romantic. Located in the nicest part of Malta. Very near to nice beaches and country side.

The apartments have unobstructed blue and glittering sea views and far ranging views of Mistra Valley. Outside one can find open spaces where one can walk by the country-side and/or sea-side.

NICE APARTMENT

The top apartment(with a lift) is nice and spacious,with a very well equipped kitchen.We picked it for the spa and the views,which are really great from the bigger terrace.It is located in the north of the island,where you can walk.However,we would clearly recommend renting a car(very cheap on the island) to be able to go around.You will not spend much time watching TV,unless you are learning Italian and Maltese...Wifi working well,which is not always the case in other rental properties.It was a bit chilly on windy days in the sitting room,which has no airconditioning system.The owners do their best to solve problems.

OUR BELLISSIMO WEEK STAY IN MALTA!

Superb Quality unit and great value! The large terrace - with a fine view on the country - was an awesome welcome space to embrace the ambience of the area whilst enjoying an early morning tea/coffee or relaxing in the Jacuzzi late in the afternoon. We were six people who stayed in the apt. for a week. The apartment itself was modern, spacious and spotless with nice furnishings and free wi-fi. The supplies were great. The owner speaks excellent English and Italian. Andy was in fact very helpful suggesting places to go as he knows more about the place than the tour guides. Moreover Andy was most willing to fulfill our every need: he provided maps, must see ideas etc. Our flight into Malta was quite late and Andy ensured us a private pick up at the airport at a very reasonable price. We would love to stay in this apartment when we are next in Malta. We would definitely recommend it to others!

PERFECT WINTER HALF TERM BREAK

We had a fantastic week in this lovely apartment during the February half term. Luckily the weather was kind to us, which was great for exploring Malta and Gozo.

When back at the apartment we were able to enjoy iPlayer (via a UK based VPN service) over the fast broadband with WiFi. The kids also loved the hot tub.

Andy made sure that everything was in top condition for our arrival and that we knew how to get to local supermarkets etc.

HOLIDAY IN MALTA

We very much enjoyed our stay in this penthouse apartment. Lovely views all round and everything within property you would need. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Andy met us at the airport and took us to the address as we did not have a hired car - cost €25. As we did not want to hire a car - my husband, myself and two friends are all in our 70s - getting around was quite difficult for us. Car hire was a possibility but we decided that parking in popular areas would not be that easy. Very steep hills up to the property and no nearby shops for day to day supplies such as bread and milk. Andy very kindly took us for a big shop the day after our arrival so we bought as much as we could for the rest of the week.

We managed on the bus transport system by walking down one of the steep hills and getting taxis back to the apartment. Once you are used to the bus system and the timetables transport is easy. The 221 takes you to Bugibba where there is a bus station and it is possible to get buses from there all over the island. The only beach we visited was a Mellieha which was very good but probably would be
very crowded in high season.

We love Malta and would hope to return at some future date but would not rent this apartment again - only due to the transport difficulties. We have absolutely no complaints about the apartment. Anybody who is 20-30 years younger and much fitter would not have a problem with this and anybody who is likely to hire a car could solve the problems we experienced.

GREAT HOLIDAY IN MALTA

We had a great time at the apartment in Xemxija where everything is laid on for the perfect holiday. Andy and Claire are thoughtful and extremely helpful hosts who have prepared the holiday home to have everything that you may need. The fixtures and fittings are top quality and all parts of the apartment are tastefully decorated. The main deck is a delight, with views over woods and beyond. The other deck has views of the Sulman Palace, St Paul's Bay and beyond. It is perfectly situated to explore Malta and the ferry to Gozo is only a few minutes drive. There a number of beaches within easy reach, we went to Golden Bay and enjoyed it immensely.

There are a number of good restaurants nearby, but the apartment is in a quiet area away from the bustle of St Paul's Bay. We would recommend Porto del Sol, where the food and service were excellent..

All in all we had a great week in Xemxjia and would love to go back at some point. We would recommend the apartment as a great base to explore - or just sit and relax with a book and a bottle of CISK LAGER BEER :))

Xemxija is a town on the west side of St. Paul's Bay, Malta. Xemxija (meaning sunny) is the gateway to the sandy beaches of Golden Bay to the west, and to Mellieha Bay to the north. Xemxija is a quiet resort, surrounded by Maltese countryside and some of the most fertile valleys in Malta.

By walk one can find a picturesque small fishing harbour, Hotel, Restaurants, wine bar, Pubs and Mini-Market opened 7 days a week. Nightlife, shops, cinema, casino and bars can be found in the villages of St Paul's Bay, Bugibba and Qawra, all within 5 minutes drive.

This resort is surrounded by nature, picturesque countrysides, history and traditions.

Located just a few meters from the apartment is the Xemxija Heritage Trail. A walk along this trail whilst enjoying the magnificent country side, one can see the remains of thousands of years of history that the Islands of Malta have.

A Bird Sanctuary can also be found in Xemxija.
