The location allows you to ski right back to the door as the slopes from Nyon now have snow cannons! For keen skiers it enables you to fully maximise your time on the slopes. Next to the Nyon ski and mountain bike lift there is a friendly restaurant and bar and there is a lovely walk along the River Drance that leads to Morzine.
During the day the apartment is on the shuttle bus service route in the summer for mountain biking/walking and golf holidays / winter seasons Skiing, Boarding, Paragliding etc. Morzine is only 2 mins away by car or a 15 minutes walk.The walk can be by road or along the River Drance down the valley towards Thonon which is ideal for water rafting and hydro speeding enthusiasts.It is at Nyon you will find activities such as Cannoning, golfing,mountain biking/walking and the Adventure Park up in the trees next to the Nyon Waterfall!

Cleverly designed and excellently maintained courses at altitudes up to 7000ft give breathtaking backdrops to every shot and add yardage to your tee shots. Courses are between 10 and 90 minutes from Morzine.You can play as often as you wish or mix it with some of the many other sports and activities on offer.
Green fees are payable at the courses in Euros and range from £20 -£40 per round.Clubs can be hired at all courses.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment in Nyon. The facilities were accurately described, everything functioned very well and we were very comfortable.
In our opinion the best aspect was the location. It was excellent with a short walk to the Nyon cable car enabling us to access the Les Gets bowl very quickly and easily without navigating the zoo at Pleney. Skiing back (down the blue run to the Nyon car park) was almost to the door. The piste has snowmaking so it was always in good condition and skiable by all levels of skiers. The free Navette Bus, which takes you to Pleney (for ski lessons) and to the Super Morzine Lift (to access Avoriaz and the Portes Du Solei) was even closer, very reliable giving us easy access to the wider ski area. All in all we could not think of a better location in and around Morzine.
In summary we were extremely pleased with the standard of the accommodation and location which made our trip to Morzine very enjoyable.

Containing everything you need for a self-catered holiday, this apartment is very good value. Nigel the owner is very helpful and central Morzine is only about a 15 min walk away. With a gondola and ticket office literally 2 mins walk away and a ski run straight to the front of the apartment block we found this an excellent location. Also on the less busy side of the resort so no massive lift queues until you ski over to Les Gets/Morzine. All towels and bedding provided. Highly recommended - We will be back.
This was our 5th consecutive stay in this perfectly located apartment, with lovely views from the balcony straight out to the home slope (blue run)! With just 2 minutes walk to the cable car to get you straight up the mountain in the morning and then ski straight back to the apartment in the afternoon/evening, its location really is great!
The apartment is in very quiet surroundings, with lovely neighbours next door and has the bonus of free wifi, which is quick and reliable. It is always clean, tidy and warm when we arrive, with all the beds made and only about half an hour walk along the river to and from the town of Morzine.
There is also a free bus service (N) from outside of the apartment running approx. every 25mins from about 8.30 – 17.30 (there is also another bus (E) that runs later until approx. 20.00 that will drop you near the cable car, just a few minutes walk away). If driving, there is more than adequate parking right outside the apartment. There is also a garage and a ski cave where skis and boots can be securely kept.
The nearest and largest supermarket in the town is Carrefour which is very reasonably priced and has a great range for all your essential groceries. We would recommend Les Deux Criquets Snack Bar at the bottom of the Charniaz Express lift (also Troncs and Tete) for a beer/coffee stop and Jean Paul does a great American Sandwich with fries (for less than 10 euros which is more than enough for two to share!) – in half term it does get very busy so would recommend either an early lunch 11.45-12 or later one at 14.00.
The snow conditions have always been fantastic each year we’ve stayed here (3x in Feb and twice in Apr)… with both heavy snow fall and blue bird days with lovely warm sunshine! Morzine has never disappointed!
Overall we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone. Nigel & Penny have always made communications and paperwork etc very straight forward and deposit returned immediately, thank you once again for an incredible stay in your lovely apartment! Hope to stay again, our 6th stay, soon!

Situated right at the bottom of the neon lift, with regular buses all day this was a great place to stay. We found it quiet and tidy with lots of sleep space. Thanks for a great stay!
The apartment is clean, well-maintained and has everything you need for self catering. Wi-fi was quick and reliable. Great location for access to the slopes. No shops or bars near-by but the bus stops right outside and it is a 15-20 minute walk back from town.

If you are looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable, family friendly apartment, then look no further!
This apartment was perfect for our needs. 3 separate sleeping areas (2 of which are on mezzanine levels which the kids loved!) and a separate sleeping area for parents. You could easily have 6 people staying. The apartment was clean with a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of lovely hot water. There is also Wifi which was an added bonus. All details in the description were accurate. Even the beds were made up for us on arrival which was great.
There is a bus stop almost at the front door with regular buses to the Pleney Lift/centre of Morzine, recommend you get a bus timetable so you can plan your day around the times. And the Nyon cable car is 5 mintues walk away. We also walked back to the apartment (took about 30mins from centre of Morzine) along the river, but after a days skiing we normally jumped on the bus. You can also ski back to the apartment (on a blue run) which even our 6 year managed a couple of times. We had hired skiis from a shop at the bottom of the Pleney, so most times we left our skis there & jumped on the bus to save carrying everything, along with 2 small kids.
I cannot fault this apartment at all, I guess the only thing to bear in mind is that you need to be a little more organised with food shopping as the nearest Carrfour is in the centre of town. You can get a bus from the main road roundabout back to the apartment though if you time it right!
We didn’t eat out much, so can’t comment on the surrounding restaurants, but Nigel has supplied a Welcome Folder which has loads of local information in it. A nice touch. Oh and remember to sign the visitor book ?
Nigel was great to deal with ahead of our stay and sent our deposit back almost immediately.

Great apartment. Comfortable with 4 of us, wouldn't be too much problem with 6. Fantastic that the ski lift is so close. Although the centre of Morzine is a short walk, it's only 10 minutes away - which is nice after a day's skiing - and you get the benefit of peace and quiet in the evening. Great value for money, hoping to visit again soon!
Morzine is a picturesque town, and is situated in the French Alpine region of the Haute- Savoie.Unlike many ski resorts, Morzine retains all the charm and culture of the farming town that it once was making it the perfect place to take your ski holidays. The apartment is 2 minutes by car to the centre of town(Town Hall and Dixie Bar). In the winter, the Pleney Stade piste is lit up at night once a week for evening skiing and sledging. The indoor ice rink is open to the public and also holds ice hockey matches every week.There are two cinemas which play English films in the winter, and an Olympic -sized open air swimming pool open in the summer.The Portes du Soleil is the largest linked ski area in the world ,and is made up of twelve French and Swiss resorts.It boasts some 650km of piste in winter, as well as lift access to over 380km of marked mountain bike and hiking trails in the summer.

We are more than happy to do Sunday to Sunday bookings.This way you benefit from much quieter ski slopes on the Saturday as this is the main changeover day.Also flights can be cheaper.
Weekend and Midweek rates per night are approximately £70 dependant on dates requested and number of guests.
