Golf: Central Florida has rightly earned a reputation for some of the finest golf courses in the world. Only across the road from Windsor Hills you will find Mystic Dunes Golf Course or the Palms as it is sometimes called. The Palms' brand new 7,012 yard, par 71, 18-hole championship golf course is now in full swing! Are you ready for the challenge? This exciting new course was designed and built by Meadowbrook Golf Group, Inc. Gary Koch, an active member and participant on the PGA Tour who can be seen regularly on NBC's televised PGA events as a color commentator, also assisted in the design of the course. There are many unique factors to The Palms' new course. One is that it is actually two courses in one; The 'low-country' eastern nine gives golfers the opportunity to play through meandering wetlands and one hundred-year-old Oak Hammocks, reminiscent of classic Carolina courses. The western nine gives players the sensation of playing on a dunes-style, British Isles links course featuring elevation changes as much as 50 feet in certain areas.
