Set in a picturesque scene of rolling green countryside and in 2 acres of grounds. Approached through gates and driveway, the house stands on an elevated position overlooking a tiny hamlet. A few minutes walk to a general store, post office and the pub! At weekends, May- late September the local pub has an outdoor covered barbeque area and a visit is recommended! Scottsboro House is available all year round. We can arrange, at an extra charge, dinner parties and also a weekly cleaning service. It is your choice how much self catering you need. There's a host of activities awaiting you in this lakeland county of Northern Ireland, ideal for the fisherman, golfer or just those who want lots of places to see and things to do! Take a cruise on Upper Lough Erne, visit Crom Castle, Florence Court or Castle Coole, a day trip to Donegal via Belleek Pottery. You won't be disappointed whether it rains or shines!

    Weekend rates/ short stays (less than 7 days) negotiable. Full rental must be made at least 6 /8 weeks prior to stay.
    The house is available from Saturdays at 1600hrs. On the day of departure guests are asked to vacate by 1030hrs in order that the house is clean and organised for the next arrivals.

    The gardens will be mowed and tended on a weekly basis.

    Weekly change of linen is available. Should you require a cleaning and/or changing service, this can be arranged at an extra charge.

    A travel cot can be supplied with prior arrangement.

    A deposit of 25% of the overall rental will have to be made on confirmation of the booking. This is non refundable unless notice of a cancellation is made at least one month in advance.

    Catering arrangements for dinner parties available, with prior notice.

Notes: Scottsboro House is locally known as a 'gentleman's' residence'. The interior is decorated and furnished in a sympathetic blend of period and contemporary style. Drawing Room with open fire Dining Room with open fire and antique dining table to seat up to 10 people Garden Room with 42 inch wall mounted TV, DVD and VCR, bose music system, double French doors leading onto the patio. Please note French doors are wheelchair user friendly. Wet Room Laundry Room with washing machine, tumble drier and ironing facilities Office with internet access Kitchen with dining table, dishwasher and microwave, double oven and hob. Upstairs off a galleried landing are 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, one of which is a 'Jack & Jill' ensuite, another has a double shower. 4 of the 5 bedrooms have wall mounted televisions. Guests may avail themselves of books (for all ages) and board games. Note for Anglers: Outbuilding with fridge for bait and to store tackle etc.
