Cottage, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 2-4)

Personal home, comfortable,French style, a great sense of space,secure location,24 hrs garden district patrol located between St Charles avenue street car line and Magazine retail and restaurants. Perfectly located for walking tour of historical garden district.

Great floor plan: opened space, high ceilings, rooms flow into each other, all rooms appointed with antique furniture and lovely rugs. Lots of windows, lots of light.. Front door opens into formal living room seperated from dining room by 2 brick fire places. Master bedroom is spacious with antique sleigh bed and restauration chest. Master bath is an inviting space with lots of mirrors, counters, huge tub and a large walk-in closet. Kitchen with antique Louisiana pine table looks onto a terrasse w/ table and chairs to enjoy breakfast . Step down to office with TV and WiFi , antique English desk onto a a cosy living room with French doors opening onto patio. A camel back off the office room leads to 2nd bedroom with double bed. Also included downstairs is a full tiled-bath with large shower and toilet. There is a seperate laundry adjacent to bath

Personal home, great neighborhood with many conveniences

What makes this cottage unique

As a French native and a New Orleanian by adoption Great Food is never far from my address , as a French native I love to be able to WALK to the grocery store and to the many restaurants

This property was a hidden gem. We could not have been happier with our stay in the Garden District. Situated equidistant between St. Charles and Magazine we had access to many great restaurants, Walgreen's, Breauxmart, and public transportation. The house is beautiful. The owner, Martine, has done a wonderful job of decorating the house and making it more than renter friendly - it feels like home! We will be sure to try to stay here again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
