I say an opportunity in a developing country which was friendly to development and Americans and took the chance. I chose San Jose's historic district becasue the home was built by a European Mason at the turn of the centry. It was an impressive structure with a rich history and culture. It was in an ideal location for people to begin and finish their vacations to Costa Rica. Also, it was the perfect launch point for our second hotel, which right on the ocean in Jaco beach.

This is the most unique spot to stay in San Jose. The mansion offers total security, privacy and exclusivity. The mansion is the only 5 star enviornment in all of San Jose. We offer a private bartender, chef, an maid service. We have played host to several celebrities and famous companies over the past few years. Also, you are centally located so it's a quick car ride in any direction for adventure, volcano tours, zoo's etc. There is really nothing like it.
