Newly built just 6 years ago, this heavenly enclave is located in a new gated community of custom homes built along the ocean and fronting on stunning white-sand, half-moon Pauoa Beach and flanked by Mauna Lani's 2 championship Golf Courses and the Fairmont Orchid and the Mauna Lani Hotels and their several thousand acres filled with the best amenities imaginable. Hale Aouli's guests have total access to both hotels and this home's own private Beach Club facilities including its 100 ft. long lap pool and Jacuzzi overlooking the beach, its 2,000 sf air-conditioned work-out facility overlooking the beach, its mens and womens locker room facilities that include Jacuzzis, sauna, steam, private outdoor massage rooms, showers as well as easy access to both hotels' beautiful, well-managed white-sand beaches, their restaurants, spas, shops, golf, tennis, etc. just a hundred yards from your own lanai and waiting for you to enjoy it all!
Hale Aouli could not be closer than it is to one of the most stunning and safe swim/snorkel/paddle/surf-friendly beaches on the Big Island (check us out on Google Earth) where local giant green sea turtles can be seen swimming, feeding, sunning or sleeping right there most anytime of the day or night and all located right outside the home's secure gate about 100 yds. from its huge 2,500 sq. ft. oceanside lanai.
As you enter this beautiful home you'll hardly notice the 18 ft. high open-beam ceilings and 10 ft. tall glass and screen Great Room doors that disappear into the walls because the imposing ocean view will command your gaze and welcome you out to its 40 ft. long free-form heated, salt-system swimming pool and its circular jacuzzi spa, both of which command the best of this home's views of the Pacific Ocean and the Island of Mauai in the distance. And both will coax you to stay right where you are, but this home's perfect location will give you plenty to do without need of a car as most everything is either right there in front of you, right next to you or just a few min. walk or bike ride from where you're standing. Every room has its own climate controlled cooling systems so you can be cooled by fans, the island's breezes or A/C, as you like it. Its full acre of exquisite home and gardens will delight you as does its circular lawn driveway entry and its courtyard entry walkways that appear to float above the shallow ponds beneath them.
This home is truly elegantly appointed with 4 generous bedroom suites - 3 with luxurious pillow-top king beds and 1 with two new Tempurpedic queen beds. The Master Bedroom suite commands a large footprint of the home's square footage. Views of the ocean and waves breaking can be seen and heard right from your bed pillow and this suite includes its own office with partners desk, phone and copier/fax/printer/scanner for your use. Wifi runs throughout the entire home and lanai. This suite also houses its own full-size washer and dryer, and its private bathroom with 8 ft. long shower will entertain you with several choices of shower heads, and it's own private walled-in outdoor garden includes a soaking tub and an outdoor shower. All 3 Guest Bedroom suites include desks, seating areas, large walk-in closets and private bathrooms each with their own indoor as well as outdoor showers in private, walled-in outdoor garden settings.
The villa's 40x30 ft. Great Room is as comfortable as it is imposing with plenty of seating to enjoy the 60" flat-screen TV with Cable, Apple TV and/or stereo music with speakers everywhere so that you may choose to listen to music in one spot and watch TV in another, anywhere in the main house or courtyard or on its large oceanside lanai area out by the pool and jacuzzi that overlooks expansive ocean views.
Relax and enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner on this home's beautiful 2,500 sq. ft. stone lanai with comfortable seating everywhere. The four oversized chaises will be a favorite spot whether to enjoy the sun, a good book, view the whales or Surfer Joe, or the myriad of stars in the night sky above you. The outdoor wet-bar, complete with refrigerator, ice maker, sink and of course flat-screen TV and built-in stereo speakers, will make it a favorite spot to enjoy sports or listen to Hawaiian music while you sip mai tais and spear sashimi appetizers. The 6 ft. round stone outdoor dining table will seat up to 8 comfortably in arm chairs and is also a favorite for breakfast. The large Viking BBQ grill is always the most fun way to enjoy cooking fresh mahi mahi or thick steaks, chops or marinated chicken easily purchased at the nearby gourmet Mauna Lani Shops Foodland Market with full-time butchers offering fabulous fresh fish daily, meat, and sushi, and great wines, produce, delicious prepared foods are ready for pick-up all day and evening, as well a huge array of desserts from its bakery section, etc. and all just a 2 min. drive from Hale Aouli's front door. Mmmmm!
The home's huge gourmet kitchen with its long, curved bar that seats 5 has everything and more sporting the finest appliances, cookware and dinnerware as well as boasting one of the best views of the villa. So whether you cook yourself or call in one of our favorite in-home chefs we've personally enjoyed, the top-of-the-line accouterments as well as this beautiful space will make it a popular destination all hours of the day and night. And whether you choose to dine inside or out on the lanai, both offer an immensely enjoyable experience for you and your family and/or friends to entertain as casually or as elegantly as you wish.

We have loved spending time in Hawaii for decades. Just 8 years ago we finally built the vacation home of our dreams and went a little overboard, much to everyone's good fortune as we need your support to keep it looking and functioning beautifully.
We hope to keep it as a legacy for our adult children to hopefully keep and enjoy for decades to come.
We chose this particular spot of all the choices one has in the islands because we found that many of our friends were building and buying around us and their being around us made it all the more fun to spend time there. We are so fortunate to have been able to secure such a rare and amazing lot so close to every amenity imaginable.
Hands down, this property offers the BEST of everything.... This beautiful home has everything one could ask for in a home and in a location having everything one could ever want to be surrounded by which makes for the best, most comfortable and care-free vacation to do whatever you and everyone else wants to see and do.
Our family spent a magical 3 weeks at Hale Aouli this summer. The house and grounds are truly spectacular - we spent many hours lounging by the pool, taking in the unbeatable view, and watching our little ones enjoy the water. The interior furnishings are also of the highest quality and very well put together - visiting Hale Aouli is like coming home to vacation property you've always dreamt of having - no detail has been overlooked.
While the house itself is truly breathtaking, what really put the icing on the cake for us was the easy access to the grounds of the Fairmont Orchid right next door. Being able to walk down to the beach and order drinks and food by the water was a terrific benefit, especially since we had our little kids with us.
The house management staff, the daily cleaning staff, and everyone associated with this property were complete professionals - we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
We can't wait to be able to go back and spend some more time in this true Hawaiian paradise.
This is a magnificent home. The home itself is stunning, the amenities are incomparable and the setting is phenomenal. We enjoyed a week of gracious living and relaxation at Hale Aouli. The owners are kind and accommodating and the management staff bent over backwards to make our stay so memorable. They came everyday to clean and replenish supplies which were generously offered.
The house has a beautiful pool which was enjoyed by everyone in our multi-generational group. A beautiful white-sand beach was a short walk from the home. We love to snorkle and though we brought our own equipment, there was plenty of snorkle gear in the garage to borrow. And the snorkling did not disappoint: especially the sea turtles we were able to see each day.
We decided to hire one of the in-home chefs the owner recommended. What a joy to sit on the gorgeous patio watching the sunset without shopping, cooking or cleaning up! This was the way to go for complete relaxation. The meals we did prepare were in the fabulous kitchen which was well equipped with everything we needed, including spices! The market is less than a five-minute drive from the house.
A drawback: though we came with a list of sights we wanted to see, it was very hard to leave this place! We definitely opted to forfeit several day trips in favor of taking advantage of the grounds and comforts of Hale Aouli. Football games on the lawn, cards on the patio, hours of fun in the pool and on the beach were a slice of heaven. This was the perfect place for a family gathering.
You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay in this exceptional home. The view from the patio is imprinted in our mind's eye--a real highlight! We hope to return to this little piece of paradise!
The house is perfectly designed, from robes to sheets to mattress, with no expense spared. The house is perfectly situated between the mauna lani and the fairmont, with several surfing spots within walking distance. The pool, spa, fountain and the award winning landscape were amazing... outdoor shower and bath were beautiful... the front of the house gardens i spent alot of times chasing anoles or taking pics of the flowers.... the fragrance... the tradewinds, the turtles...The kitchen is amazing,
i would not have wanted to stay anywhere else! the air conditioners the music the open space, the privacy! the club is nice but the home is hard to leave... the staff is first rate, professional, and were an added plus! (they clean every day) The owners have put together a masterpiece, in aesthetics and in feel... anyone lucky enough to find themselves here will truly not be disappointed.
