We are pleased to offer two luxury self-catering apartments in this Edwardian building, located close by the River Thames, with the world-famous Tower of London literally across the road, and the iconic Tower Bridge as our backdrop.

Our two-bedroom apartment can comfortably sleep up to 6 people, Plus an additional travel cot - appropriate for a baby up to 18 months’ old - available on request. Our one-bedroom apartment is bright and spacious, accommodating up to 5 people, again with travel cot available on request.

The Tower Hill location is ideal for both business and leisure visitors alike. For business visitors, the City of London financial district is on our doorstep. For leisure visitors, Tower Hill’s environs are steeped in history, from Roman times onwards, through the invasion of William the Conquerer, to the terrible exploits of Jack the Ripper, a short distance east in Whitechapel. We then come right up to the present-day architecture of the Shard and the Gherkin, both of which are within less than a mile’s radius and easily accessible, by public transport, taxi or on foot.

The area is well served by literally 100's of local restaurants to suit all budgets and sophisticated wine bars and London pubs. Sight seeing and the Theatres of the WestEnd are easily accessible by tube, bus or short cab ride. We aim to ensure that our apartments feel like your home away from home and our location next to the majestic Tower of London will leave you with fantastic memories and wanting to return!

The views from each room within these elegant apartments located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of this small, quiet and exclusive residential building are spectacular. The nearby Thames path enable guests to take a relaxing walk along the embankment and take in magnificent views as they walk to nearby St Paul's Cathedral, The Tate Modern, Covent Garden and the West End beyond.

Tower Hill has an abundance of high quality restaurants, which cater to every palate and every wallet. A short stroll past the 'Beef Eaters' (guards of the Tower and the Crown Jewels) you will find St Katherine's Dock filled with swanky private yachts as well a wide selection of trendy eateries. Just across Tower Bridge at Butlers Wharf you will find Sir Terrance Conran's famous group of restaurants including 'Pont De La Tour' (Fish) and the 'Chop House' (contemporary English food). Both these locations offer alfresco dining by the river for that perfect romantic and memorable evening spent watching the world go by with friends and family.

Perfect for sightseeing and business trips: From our apartment you can easily visit all the famous sites without need for a car. Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament are approximately a 7 minute journey by Tube or 20 minutes by bus. This means that guests can easily access to the main tourist attractions such as St Paul's cathedral, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, as well as the National Gallery and British museum etc. Harrods and the hustle and bustle of all shopping along Oxford, Regent and Bond Streets are also a short journey by tube or bus but Tower Hill and the City also provide an extensive choice of shopping close by. The tour buses pass outside our front door if you want the thrill of seeing the sights from the famous London Red Bus!

The apartments are easily accessible from London's main airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted) by Tube, rail or bus within an hour.... and London City airport is just 25 mins using the Dockland Light railway

Description was right on. Apartment was immaculate, well-maintained, nicely stocked, wonderful location. Right next to underground station making it easily accessible to both Heathrow and any location in London. Not only would we recommend, but we would rent again the next time we are in London. Nice restaurants locally and grocery store around the block.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Unfortunately not exactly as we hoped

We were very much looking forward to our stay in this flat, and were persuaded by the many glowing reviews. We would not stay here again, however, or recommend it, unfortunately. First, several good points: the apartment was perfectly able to sleep the 7 of us, (although the bedrooms are not large, and several of the 7 are small children) and it is located a very short walk to both a tube and a National Rail station. And the Tower of London, of course. Martin, in my inquiries before arriving, was very prompt in responding. He did stress several times that we needed to clean the apartment before leaving to get our full deposit back, which we did, thoroughly. The downsides: the proximity to trains means that not only is the apartment a bit noisy, it's also very rumbly! The trains sound as if they're right underneath you, late at night and early in the morning. For light sleepers, ear plugs will not do the trick. Our check-in, as Martin was on holiday, was unlike any check-in we've experienced while renting flats in Istanbul, Rome, Florence, or Sevilla. Martin had asked us for patience in dealing with his trainee, which we extended. However, she missed our agreed upon early check-in time by 3 hours, and the flat was still being cleaned as we arrived. There is no booklet in the flat which lists phone numbers, local restaurants and grocery stores, and more importantly, info on how the appliances work. When we went to heat food for our children on one of our nights there, the oven knob came off in our hand. We could not figure out the oven or microwave or tv, despite arriving with technology-savvy teens in tow! After phone tag with the women in charge, we apparently had a daytime visit from one of them while we were out touring. Finally, when we arrived home, we discovered that our deposit had been docked. When I inquired why, as we left the flat cleaner than we had found it, Martin told me that we were being charged to replace a second set of keys. None of our group were given a second set of keys-- and wish if he were going to charge us for them we could have used them during our stay! They would have been so helpful. Martin and his team are nice enough, and his assistant upon checkout offered profuse apologies. However, the lack of a working kitchen was a bummer, as we rent flats for the use of a kitchen for a few meals. In addition, be aware you may get stuck with an "involuntary donation" for the flat's maintenance needs.

We received 1st class customer service at all times - from our initial contact, through to check-out time. Martin and the team are professional, customer focussed, truly know London and are happy to assist wherever possible.

Having previously lived in Soho and Holborn, we are familiar with London and wanted a central base to enable us to make the most of our 4 days in the capital. The apartment was exactly as described; immaculately presented and furnished; stunning views; fantastic transport options on the doorstep; restaurants to accommodate any dietary and budget requirements; an endless list of venues / attractions and sight-seeing opportunities.

The apartment is perfect for the business traveller or vacation purposes. Our group [2 adults, 2 seniors and 2 teenagers] thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the 2-bed apartment. [The 1 bed apartment looks great also - Martin gave us a tour as we were checking out of the 2 bed.]

In a nutshell, don't waste time trawling through various accommodation sites - book this apartment. You won't regret it......

Great apartment in wonderful location

Martin - the owner was great. The helpful communication we received the whole time was really assuring to a first time renter. When we arrived he had waited for us even though we were several hours late. The welcome pack with food, milk, toothbrushes etc was very thoughtful and the kangaroo made us feel at home! Martin was kind enough to let us have 7 people in the apartment. 3 adults and 4 children 8-15yrs. We found it quite o.k. and the extra bed was comfortable. Obviously the apartment is best suited to 4 people as the extras are in the living room but once you are using the living room then it really didn't matter if you had 2 or 3 in there. The apartment itself was quite spacious for city living and very close to train stations, the underground, bus stops and in walking distance to local shops. It was impeccably clean and well maintained. I was concerned that we might go over the Internet limit, as we used it most nights to browse tourist attractions, but it wasn't an issue. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay in this lovely apartment, with views to die for, again. Sorry I have taken so long to review this property. Family from Perth Western Australia

From our location on leafy Trinity Square you have many transport options including Tower Hill underground station (tube) which is located on the same Square (a 2 minute walk!) Lots of buses stop close by to take you all over the capital. All major airports are within a 45 min transfer time and London City Airport is just 20 mins on the Docklands Light railway. Being located on the river guests have the option of romantic evening strolls and the Thames river boat services from Tower Pier. The immediate area is well served by hundreds of restaurants & bars and there are 3 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk for those who prefer to use our fully equipped kitchen to eat-in.

Other Activities: Across the street from the world famous Tower of London & all major London attractions easily accessible by public transport, walking, river boat, or bus.
