Beautiful rental property in Nassfeld Tropolach

Eri240 Norwich, Norfolk, UK
Review Submitted: November 10, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
A lovely apartment situated in a lovely Austrian village. The apartment was pristine and very nicely furnished, with all the mod cons one needs, a real home from home. The bedrooms were extremely well presented. I could not fault this apartment and would highly recommend it. The surrounding countryside is stunning, with plenty of lovely walks to enjoy. The surrounding area has so much to offer at any time of the year, whether it be a ski-ing holiday or a spring/summer/autumn break. I would definitely like to go back at any time of year. We enjoyed the local hotel Falkensteiner and spent a few evenings there, either for a meal or just a drink in the very stylish surroundings. The drive to and along the Grossglocker Pass (approx 1 hour 20 mins to get to the beginning of the pass ) was amazing and I would recommend this highly (check that it is open as it closes at the end of October for sometime), it was the most stunning drive we have ever taken. The Geotrail walk too was one of the best walks we have done... amazing scenery. A truly perfect place.

Grat apartment in Tröpolach

Review Submitted: March 9, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
Very very nice accomadations, well kept, fully equiped and with a tremendous view on the mountains.

If anyone is looking for a winter holiday this place is definietly worth a try. The skiing is outstanding, the millenium Lift just a short walk from the apartment.
The hotel Samerhof offers a very good, reasonably priced dinner.
We would have liked an information folder on Tröpolach and its surroundings which is probably more important in summer season, as well as a coffee machine for more than one person.

We strongly want to recommend Tröpolach for a family holiday.
Owner's Response: This summer we have added an information folder on Tropolach and the surrounding area and also a larger coffee machine. We appreciate reviews from guests as this enables us to make any changes or additions where necessary.

Nice winter holiday with the family

Review Submitted: March 6, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
We, a family with 4 adult children, spend the Silvester week in this appartment in Tropolach. It is new, spacious and comfortable. There are three bedrooms with nice view over the valley. From the kitchen you can see the lowest part of the piste. There was enough snow, so the 7,5 km long Carnia abfahrt was open down to the valley. The ski area of Nassfeld is one of the best we've seen in the last 7 years. Our 17 year old son had a lot of fun in the snow-board park with half-pipe and a number of jumps. We were lucky to have 6 out of 7 days with blue sky, sun and no wnd, so even though the remperature was low, we could have our lunch outside on the mountain. Every morning we got fresh bread in small supermarket in the village. Every evening we cooked for our selves. For food we drove to times to a big supermarket in Hermagor. We didn't miss a t.v. in the appartment; we spent our evenings reading on the comfortable couch and playing games, which is more or less a tradition in our family. So we had a lovely and relaxed week together.
Owner's Response: We have added a TV to the apartment for this years Ski Season 2009/2010 as we have found that some guests do prefer to have one available.

What to say?
Excellent opportunity for nice vacation!!!
Beautiful apartment on a beautiful and quite place at the end of village. Fantastic position few hundred meters from Millennium Express.
Apartments don't have TV but it gives you opportunity to have 7 days without CNN and other stories about crises.
Owner's Response: This summer we have added a TV to the apartment as some people do prefer to have one availble so it is now ready for the 2009/2010 Ski Season
