...and very happy here during our stay. We enjoyed the special uniqueness of an older home, decorated so well! We all slept soundly on the comfy beds and we all savored our time here in the house and out around the island. Your home's location proved to be perfect! Thank you!
We are a couple of New Englanders married over forty years who left Boston for Martha's Vineyard in 1998. We enjoy hiking the many trails and learning about the nature and history of the island. We keep a small apartment in the city and are happy to rent our house any time of year.
We fell in love with Oak Bluffs and Martha's Vineyard on our first visit in the early 90's. The people we've met, the culture, the beauty everywhere, and oh, yes, the warm water...it's all been wonderful.
A peaceful, quiet street but an easy walk to the restaurants, movies and bustle of town. A pretty walk to the sandy 'Inkwell' beach, bike paths in both directions. A large selection of books and lots of places to read, inside and out. A yard big enough for family touch football, croquet or badminton. A sunset kayak paddle on the pond. The island is full of wonderful choices; fairs and festivals, artisan's shows and galleries, sports and outdoor adventures.
