We had the most amazing stay in this house in mid September for 10 days. We were travelling from Ireland with an 18 month old toddler and wanted a spacious house within a short walk to both the beach and circuit ave and with outdoor garden space. We absolutely fell in love with this house! It has such old world vineyard charm with the large deck, hammock, really amazing outdoor shower, wind chimes, fairy lights…just beautiful. It was such a benefit being able to have use of the owners things such as a travel cot, stair gate, beach toys, parasols, coolers and especially the kayaks which we used for some wonderfully peaceful ventures on the lagoon just a stone’s throw away. The property is so central but you feel like you’re very secluded. In the morning we would wake up to the singing of the birds and see squirrels running across the telegraph wires! The master bedroom is just beautiful, the kitchen very well equipped. There is also a nicely rustic edge to the place – it is not so pristine that you are constantly afraid of damage/stains etc (especially with a toddler), it has an old feel and is ‘lived in’, which makes it very comfortable and relaxing to holiday in. The owners were really pleasant to deal with too.
We would recommend it in a heartbeat and really hope to return sometime, it made for a perfect Vineyard holiday with lots of great memories.
