Fully furnished Self catering ground apartment overlooking lagoon. with air conditioning units in all rooms. Kitchen has electric cooker, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster, with crockery and cutlery for 4 people.Lounge has couch, two chairs, dining table and chairs, television, DVD/video player. Also supplied are,a telephone for calls within the resort, an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, 3 sun loungers with cushions, wind break and beach towels. The resort has its own transport system and a mini bus runs from the front of the apartment to the resort centre every half hour from 7am-3pm and from 5pm till late. Tickets are £20Egyptian approx £2.Sterling for 1 week and cover all buses within the resort. From the centre buses run to the beaches and hotels. There are 10 diving schools, numerous restaurants, a marina and regular evening entertainments within the resort. Trips to Luxor or Cairo can be booked through Travel company based in resort.

Nearest airport:   Hurghada at 15 Kilometres
Nearest ferry:   Hurghada at 12 Kilometres
Nearest beach:   beach at 2.0 Kilometres

A few metres away from the apartment is the shared seawater swimming pool, it is also possible to swim in the lagoon. Trips to the pyramids or the Valley of the Kings in Luxor can be arranged by local tour company. Buses run every 20 minutes from the resort to Hurghada and cost 50p for single journey of approx 30 minutes. Designer shops are found within El Gouna particularly in the Marina complex. Beaches are a short bus ride away, the resort offers other transportation such as taxi or tuc tuc, small motorised vehicles which cost 5 Egyptian pounds ( 50p) from apartment to anywhere in the resort. There is a USPG 18 hole golf course close to the apartment. El Gouna has a modern hospital to cater for any emergency/illness. The hospital has the most advanced Hyperbaric Chamber in Egypt. Boat charters are available from the Marina, trips to near by islands are bookable within the resort. Trips on the resort lagoons are available from the jetty in the old town

  • Both bathrooms have towel rails and compartments beside the wash basin for storing toiletries etc there is a large mirror on the wall above the wash basin in each bathroom. The floors are marble as is the basin surround.

A terrace overlooking the lagoon beach leads off one bedroom The other en-suite bedroom is at the front of the property. The floors throughout the apartment are marble. Both bedrooms have air conditioning units.

Notes: The spacious light and airy property is ideal for a relaxing or an energetic holiday, and several guests have returned or a second stay. There are three sunbeds with mattresses, on the terrace there is a patio table and four chairs with cushions. There is no maid service but my agent will ensure that the apartment is cleaned before guests arrive and on their departure, the laundry is also dealt with by my agents so guests can have a carefree holiday. The apartment is on the ground floor and as such is suitable for children or a person using a wheelchair although a taxi might be required to get around the resort as the minibuses that are used in the resort would be difficult for a disabled person to negotiate.

Golf: The USPG 18 hole golf course is available to all guests visiting El Gouna. It is within walking distance to the apartment and is part of the Steinberger Hotel complex. .
