This classical house, expanded and renovated in 2008, was built by Rogent Elies (professor of architecture of Antoni Gaudí) for the Marquis of Salamanca and is listed as a historic monument of the city of Barcelona.
Today it hosts 10 modern apartments, all dedicated to short-stay rental. The building has an elevator for 6 people.
In the 3 rd floor, the building has a terrace (solarium) which can be exclusively used by our customers in order to enjoy a moonlight dinner, a family breakfast or just for a relaxing sun bath. There are parking facilities in our absolutely safe underground car park which is directly connected with the building via elevator.
the interior was clean, tastefully designed, and fully stocked with all amenities...flat screen tv, DVD player, washing machine, and all kitchen utensils.
The neighborhood was quiet, upscale, family-oriented, and safe...lots of stores and cafes open all night.
Their manager "Pablo" is professional, affable , and a super nice man...he helped us at midnight when the power went out ! And was very helpful ...better than a hotel concierge!
Early September 2010 well this place was superb very clean really great showers and this place so convienient for us for transit etc as new visitors to Barcelona. With a big group from Canada & the UK (11 people),we used two appartments which were as said very clean and well equipped. The top deck to sit outside for our group was excellent for all to eat dinner & relax after a great day sightseeing. The management a Mr or Senior Pablo Cano amazing polite and very accomodating to the differnt types of payment with Canadian & British banking which we did not have to cover till we arrived. Great place clean safe and pleasant for a big city. Local coffeee shops and groceries supermarket easy walk two bus stops to the metro superb location.Our next time to Barcelona we hope this is still available. Do not hestitate this is a good place, so from the big group all well pleased including our two finiky teenagers of 15 & 17 at the time.

We have just returned from 4 days in the Deluxe studio apartment having had an amazing time ! We were allowed to drop our luggage off early which was a real bonus and we went off for lunch at one of the many restaurants in the area . Later we returned to the spotlessly clean and superbly equipped studio , although I would class it as an apartment as it is much more spacious than the photographs would suggest .
The area of Gracia is fabulous and the Festa Major was in full swing where many neighbouring streets are decorated in fantastic style with live music in each . There was such a huge amount going on it certainly kept our teenage kids happy !
We were able to walk to the main city attractions and were very close to the metro for any sights further afield.
We were spoilt for choice for places to eat but also used the well equipped kitchen ( there are grocery shops on the same street as the apartments ) which gave us flexibility .
An additional bonus to our balcony was the great roof terrace where towels and loungers are provided for sunbathing or it's a lovely place to enjoy a drink at the end of a busy day .
The management of the building was excellent and Pablo's brother who met us and showed us round the apartment could not have been more helpful .

We had a wonderful time during our stay at these beautiful apartments. Our host Pablo was very helpful during the lead up to our stay and answered our many questions very quickly. The directions send to us on how to get to the apartment were fantastic. The apartments are in a lovely part of the city with plenty of restuarants nearby and lots of very stylish shops. We could not fault the apartments at all, there was everything you could possibly need for a great stay. It was very quiet of a night so we had a great nights sleep and the beds were very comfortable. We did a great bike tour of the city whilst we were there which was very useful and our guide was fantastic. It was with a company called barcelona bikes and they can be found on the internet. I would recommend Bonavista Apartments to our friends as one of the best places we have stayed in and we hope to be able to return again very soon.
This is a beautifully restored building and the interior of the apartment has been tastefully done, no expense seems to have been spared. Everything is very well laid out and there is a modern but spacious feel to the apartment. We also had a large terrace. Given how close it is to a main boulevard, it was very quiet as our apartment windows all faced the back of the building. We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and next time we will bring our children as there's enough space for all of us. Sharon and Billy
The building where our apartment are based is in a safe and quiet street next to Passeig de Gracia, one of the most luxurious areas of Barcelona. The exact address is Carrer Bonavista 4, 08012 Barcelona. We are right at the intersection of the districts of Gracia and Eixample, near the junction of Avinguda Diagonal and Passeig de Gracia. It is the very center of Barcelona.
The location of the apartments is considered by our clients as one of the best in Barcelona, at a 5 minutes walk from La Pedrera, Casa Batlló at a 8 minutes walking distance, and superbly connected via subway to the most important spots of the city such as Las Ramblas / Ciutat Vella, the Sagrada Familia, Park Güell and the FC Barcelona soccer stadium. You can also catch 2 of the panorama buses at a 5 minutes distance from our building. Some of the best hotels, restaurants and shops in Barcelona are located in this district.
