Individual apartments in a small, quiet group in Tolo, shaded from the warmth by trees and just 50 metres from the fine sandy beach and crystal clear sea but also with full use of a large pool with umberellas and sun loungers. The airy, fresh and nicely presented apartments are away from the road and so are quiet and safe for children, but still close to shops, tavernas and of course the beach. . You won't need a car in Tolo - everything is within walking distance - although it may be useful for sightseeing. . You'll find traditional wooden fishing boats bobbing in the harbour, overlooked by some great low key traditional tavernas, as well as those that cater for more cosmopolitain tastes. The beach is one of the best in the area, and holds an EU. blue flag for cleanliness. It is sandy and shallow for a good way out. There is a watersports center and you can go waterskiing, sailing, hire a pedalo and explore the island in the bay, or just relax on a lounger with a cool drink!

Spacious airy open plan apartment for 4, 50m from the sandy beach, with use of a large pool. There are 2 comfortable single beds in the living area (tempting you to lounge all day!), and another two on an open mezzanine floor above the kitchen, which offers basic cooking facilities. Outside there is a shady patio area to the rear where you can sip your morning coffee or take your time over your evening meal. The apartment is in a quiet location but is very close to shops and taverners. The pool is surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas and is close to your apartment to pop back for the suncream. or a good book. Tolo is a traditional sunny Greek fishing village, not too developed, but with all facilities you'll need. Watersports are availible. A car is not necessary but would be useful for sightseeing some of the best known archaeological sites in Greece or visit the nearby chic town of Nafplio with it's castle. There is a day cruise to the islands of Hydra and Spetses from Tolo harbour.

Once a traditional fishing village, and, dispites it's stunning views and clear waters, Tolo is still a fairly quiet resort which has not been overdeveloped, still retaining a 'real' Greek atmosphere and charm. Traditional tavernas, lively bars, quiet cafes from which to watch the world go by, the waves lapping against the shore and the wooden fishing boats.. At one end of the town are the ruins of Ancient Asini with its Mycenaean wells and great views of Tolo. In the summer months cruises depart from Tolo harbour to the nearby islands of Hydra and Spetses. You won't need a car while you are here, although of course it will be useful for sightseeing. If you can bring yourself to leave Tolo there's lots to see and do in the area. There are some of the best preserved archaeological sites in Greece just a short drive away - Mycenae, Epidavros, Tiryns, Corinth etc. The nearby town of Nafplio is a cosmopolitan coastal town with chic shopping and cafes, and lots of places to eat out

Notes: Air Conditioning is available at an additional cost of 6 euros per day, payable locally. The apartment has patio doors to the rear and so a through draft can be created by opening all the doors but at the hieght of summer Greece is hot so it is great to have the option of air-conditioning. Paying locally means you are only charged for the days you arrange to use the air-conditioning and so you will not pay for the days when you don't need it.

Getting There: The easiest way to get to Tolo is to arrange to hire a car from Athens airport. The drive takes about two hours, and the roads are generally very clear. Recent improvements in the road network have made the journey very simple. It is also possible to get to Tolo on public transport, and we will be happy to help with your arrangements.

Getting Around: There are buses from Tolo to Nafplio every hour in the summer. A cruise ship leaves from Tolo every day on a one day cruise to the nearby islands of Spetses and Hydra, well worth a visit! There is a charter yacht in the harbour at Nafplio that will take you on sailing trips, either for a day trip or for a longer charter. Contact us if you would like to arrange this. Coach trips are available to take you to local sites of interest, such as Mycenae, Epidavros etc. Again we can help arrange these.

very aged apartment, poor maintenance, poor cleaningness, 200 meters from the beach but in the center of the village... the only good thing is the swimming pool.
