This log cabin style house has all the modern conveniences of home. The accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms - 1 twin, 1 double and 1 double en-suite. There is a double futon on the charming mezzaine level which overlooks the sitting room with its open fire. The large kitchen has all the necessities for self catering. A laundry room provides a washing machine, iron and dryer. Outside there are 2 decking areas - 1 with views of the lake. There are 2 lakes within 1 minute walk of the house with fishing for pike, tench, bream, roach and hybrids available in both lakes. Fishing information available on booking and boats arranged for any of the many lovely Leitrim lakes nearby. Leitrim is famous for excellent Irish fishing and the house is also near the Cavan border. If fishing is not your sport there is a tennis court, equestrian centre, bar and restaurant 2 minutes walk from the house. There are many walks nearby and a major town only 5 minutes drive away. Info on day spas available.

The house is situated in Leitrim but both the Fermanagh and Cavan borders are both within easy reach. The nearest town is Ballinamore which is 5 minutes drive away. Here you will find shops, pubs, restaurants, boating and services. Within 45 minutes drive are the larger towns of Cavan, Enniskillen, Longford and Carrick on Shannon. Within driving distance are boating, fishing, swimming, walking, golfing, horse-riding, shopping and much more. Lough Key Forest Park is accessible by boat from Ballinamore via the Shannon- Erne Waterway or by road. Although there are 2 lakes on site and the Shannon- Erne Waterway is within walking distance there are several other excellent fishing lakes around such as Lake Garadice For those arriving into Dublin the house is about 2.25 hours drive from the northside of Dublin or about 1.75 hours from the southside of Dublin. The main Dublin-Sligo train line stops in Dromod which is about a 30 minute drive from the house.Check bus services with Bus Eireann

The perfect get away

The holiday my family and i had was fantastic, for the simple reason it had everything we want in a holiday.
The first thing you get when you arrive is the peace and quiet, The second would be the cabin its self its well set out and comfortable.
As for things to do ,the best thing for me would have to be the fishing in the two lakes so handy and easy access, and good size fish to.
For the kids you have the tennis courts and the horse riding which we all took part in it was really good and worth a go.
The cabin was also great for wheelchair access as we had my elderly father with us.
All in all a great place central to most towns and attractions, I would recommend it to anyone and have done, We also have booked it for the second time this year and im sure it wont be the last.

The house is in a superb location, lakes on your doorstep it does not get any better.
The cabin was very clean and well maintained and extremely spacious. There is a saloon bar on site which is great craic and the staff are very friendly.We tried horse riding for the first time, which was very funny.This is also on site.
The biggest attraction for us was fishing the lakes surrounding the house.Good bream and hybrids and loads of pike.Definitaly coming back again
