The view will take your breath away from the second you walk in until you leave. (check out the video of the view on the 'video' tab to the left) On the slopes of Haleakala, this unit is high enough to have breath taking views but just over a mile from award winning beaches. Dinner on the lanai (balcony) while watching the sunset is a MUST! Whales can be seen from the lanai January thru March. You will feel at home in this two bedroom, two bath unit. It is modestly decorated and has all the comforts of home.

Second floor unit offers greater views and added privacy. Whole unit has open beam ceilings which adds to airy feeling. Cool trade winds come down off Haleakala and cool the whole unit. Full kitchen allows you to eat in when you want and when you don't want to there are many dining choices within a few miles, from Denny's to Ruth's Chris Steak House. Kitchen is full equipped. Linens are provided. In unit washer and dryer. Master bedroom has queen bed and attached bath with tub. Second bedroom has two twin beds. Second bath has shower.

About The Owner

Our family run company owns the unit. We live on Oahu. We handle all our own rentals and have family on Maui that manages it for us.

The Owner purchased this condo in 1987
Why The Owner chose Wailea

We purchased this unit from a friend many years ago. We try to get over to Maui, from Oahu, as often as we can. It is our home away from home. We love the view. Whenever we do make it over we spend most evenings on the lanai (balcony) eating dinner, sipping a beer and enjoying the sunset!

What makes this condo unique

This unit is nearly perfect. It is high enough up the slope of Haleakala that it has an amazing view. Yet, it is just a short distance to the beach. There is a great shopping center just down the hill. A short drive away is Kihei which has just about everything you could ever want! Maui has a lot to offer. You can spend a day driving to Hana. Go upcountry and see Haleakala. Lahaina is a day in itself, lots of shopping and dining at the ocean front area. Or you can just hang out on the lanai (balcony) and enjoy the view and read your book. There are award winning beaches within a mile walk or drive. Kitchen allows you to eat in when you want, which is a handy way to save money while traveling.

Excellent rental! Panoramic view is breath-taking ( and this is coming from a local), shops and beaches are very close, unit is well maintained and clean, grounds are green, lush and grommed, and parking is abundant. Wailea is a beautiful area to visit with lots of restaurants, shops, and beautiful beaches. I have recommended this rental to family and friends. ENJOY!

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here and it is a very pleasant memory that we still cherish. We traveled all over Maui and this location was great because it was central to a lot of places we visited. We felt like home the minute we walked in the place. Nicely furnished with island themed funiture that made you feel like you decorated it yourself. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances and utensils to make whatever you feel like. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. Then there is the amazing view from the front room and lanai. We spent many hours on the lanai with breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks watching the westward view of the ocean. Truly amazing sunsets and one of our first nights there I got up early (jet lag) and watched a full moon set in the ocean. I took pictures and everyone thinks it is a sunset but it was a moon set. I will never forget it. The pool is close and well kept and the grounds are great to walk around on. The only thing that needs to be changed is the pictures of the view. They don't do it justice. It is much more spectacular than the pictures portray. We have many memories of our honeymoon on Maui and this place is one of our enduring and fond memories.
