Photos and Description of the La Caleta vacation apartment rental A brand new apartment in one of the area of the island nearby the Adeje golf

Rarely do you find a luxury apartment situated in such a nice quiet, new complex in an old fashioned fishing village, but only a short distance to main towns of Adeje, Las Americas and Los Cristianos, where you you will find everything from restaurants, shops, bars etc. If you are a golfer the island has some fantastic courses and one of the best is 5 mins from the apartment. Tee times can be arranged on any of the courses and a car is available to hire big enough for 5 with luggage/clubs. If you choose not venture too far and you just want to switch off for your holiday, La Caleta is just perfect as there are some fantastic restaurants ranging from very basic to top class. The complex has lovely gardens and a fantastic pool which leads out to the old village and seafront/beach so you don't really need to go anywhere. We will also provide a basic supermarket shopping service once a week if you really want to chill out.

Location: Tenerife < Canary Islands

Nearest Airport: Reina Sofía at 17 Kilometres
Nearest Ferry: Los cristianos harbor at 6 Kilometres
In the South island, you can practise golf all year on 5 marvellous golf greens. You can also visit the Loro Park (may be the best animals park in Europe, The Aqualand (a very big waterpark for children and adults) or assist at the Carmen Motta Show (one of the bigger Flamenco show in Spain) . You can also discover the dolphins and whales by boat or enjoy Jet-ski and dive in the Atlantic ocean. Near the apartment are located karts and quads area. The younger people can use many English and Spanish pubs and discos in Las Americas and Los Cristianos. On the island, you 'll see many different landscapes (Masca, Los Gigantes, La orotava, Taganana). The visit of the Teide(volcano) and his Lava fields are a must. In the south of the island, the temperatures are between 23' and 32ª all year. New!!!! The biggest water park in Europe available from July 2008!

We stayed in this apartment in January.Having read the other review ,we totally agree with the comments. really liked the apartment, but the position on the complex wasn't ideal for us .although we did find the lift that took us into the garages( that saved a bit of walking) Loved the area. We didn't actually meet the owner,we did have a contact (Who didn't speak english) which wasn't very helpful) Would be helpful if you knew exactly were the apt.was in the complex .,also information on local buses, where to catch them and were you can go.Nicos bar just outside the compex is very friendly and there is always someone there to give you help or information.M&J

Just back from a week in this apartment with my husband. It is located on a quiet complex,(half residential) and would not be suitable for anyone looking for anything other than a relaxing holiday. The apartment was very clean and nicely furnished the washing machine was a plus! A large balcony attracting the sun from early morning until about 3.30 pm meant you didn't need to go far to soak up the rays! We had no problem with the location but could be a problem for others. It's on the ground floor but is still high up and is a good walk to the pool and garden that involves numerous steps. Was advertised with a microwave and hairdryer but didn't have them and you could only get English news channels on sky tv. The picture on the website shows single beds. These have been pushed together to make a king-size bed, which is great - but they need some linen that actually fits, instead of using double sheets! These comments are not negatives, merely observations to help others when booking. We had a great time, La Caleta is a fabulous area and it was a very comfortable apartment. We would definitely consider booking again
