San Francisco Business Lic. No. 1008012

Stay High Above the Rooftops of San Francisco’s Noe Valley

$700.00 weekly, 1 Week minimum stay, $2000.00 monthly., Sleeps 2. Unfortunately, I am not able to accommodate children.

A sunny, cozy rooftop studio in the quiet San Francisco neighborhood of Noe Valley. You will have a panoramic view all the way from Twin Peaks to the San Francisco Bay. Today, Noe Valley is one of San Francisco’s most desirable residential areas full of Victorian homes, shops, restaurants and easy public transportation access in one of the sunniest parts of The City.

Watch the fog hover over Twin Peaks as you have your morning coffee as the warm sunshines through your windows on three sides. Warm comfortable bed, cable TV and wireless Internet access. Half-bath with a wonderful tiled shower, wet-bar with large sink and small refrigerator. You will be provided with everything you need to make simple meals with the microwave, electric burning and toaster oven. Linen and towels provided.

A beautiful rooftop hideaway, with its own access through a side passageway and up a back staircase. Must be able to negotiate stairs since access is up a circular staircase of 43 steps.

You will be in walking distance to restaurants and Noe Valley’s 24th Street shops, or you can catch the J-Church MUNI line just a block away that will give you direct access not only to the environs of Noe Valley, but to the Castro, Dolores Park and downtown San Francisco for the Cable Cars and Union Square. BART is just a short 10-minute walk.

Parking is on the street though garage parking can be arranged for an additional fee. A washer and dryer are available on the premises.

Please let me know where you are coming from if you are interested in my rooftop sunroom.

Why Dana L. Rees chose Noe Valley

The ROOFTOP SUNROOM is literally that, a room perched on the roof of a two unit building in San Francisco's Noe Valley. You view is panoramic from Twin Peaks looking west sweeping around to San Francisco Bay looking east.

What makes this studio unique

San Francisco is a city of neighborhoods and Noe Valley is one of the nicest. It is in a part of The City that the sun shines brightly when much of the rest of San Francisco is in the Fog. It is a neighborhood where you walk! Walk to the shops and stores on 24th St., or find wonerful restaurants just blocks away on Church St. Walk to a cheese store, meat market, or take in the Saturday morning Farmers' Market. Walk in any direction and you will find a coffee shop where you can sit and relax enjoying your tea or coffee.

Totally amazing the views are breathtaking

Dana was a very considerate and accommodating host. The space is very cute - compact but spacious and has everything you could need. There was even a great coffee maker, and the kitchen & bathroom were stocked with a few nice bonuses to make the stay that much more comfy. It has a homely feel when you step into it the bed is a really comfy bed. The place is very central to downtown and public transport. Will definitely recommend to others and hope to be back again. It's completly private and the stairs were no bother at all. Dana provided lots of advice/tips on Sanfrancisco which saved us time very accurate A+. Thanks heaps

Great location kind host

  • 5 of 5

I would recommend this sunroom for couples who are going on a getaway or for anyone who wants to be in a residential area away from tourists to get the real feel of San Francisco. The location is 20minutes from downtown by public transportation. The tram comes in every 10minutes, you do not need a car to get around the city.

Dana was very helpful from the beginning, and we loved the sunroom. I would highly recommend it!

Bright and sunny

Very nice room with an amazing view. All the windows made it feel like we were outside all the time. Great place, highly recommended. Short walk to all the great restaurants in the mission district. Perfect for seeing the "non" commercial region of San Francisco.

October in San Francisco

  • 5 of 5

First of all, Dana is a very gracious and concerned host. He went out of his way to insure we had very detailed instructions for navigating the city using mass-transit. Additionally, he provided an excellent introduction and explanation for the local neighborhood--shopping, dining, groceries, etc. He was responsive to all our inquiries, and went out of his way to enhance our experience in SF.

The apartment is very centrally located, as we travelled to the limits of SF using mass-transit with no problem. A car is definitely not required. Beaches, parks, sites, pier all just a few stops away. We were very glad to stay in the quiet Noe Valley each evening to escape the noise and hustle of downtown.

SF is full of interesting and diverse options for eating. We ate the majority of our meals in Noe Valley and were never disappointed.

The pictures online provide an accurate description of the apartment, and everything was in great condition for our stay. I would not hesitate to offer a recommendation for this property to anyone interested in visiting SF without staying downtown.

Memorable stay with a great view

  • 5 of 5

I had a memorable stay in SF at the sunroom in Noe Valley for a week. The space is the perfect size for sole traveler with everything I needed: a kitchen where you can make some organic eggs from Whole Foods Markets a few blocks away, shower after a jog in the neighborhood (hills are good to get your heart rate up) and a comfortable bed to rest after exploring the city.

Transportation: 5 mins away from J-line which takes you to downtown or transfer stations.

Food: Whole Foods Market, restaurants on Church St. or Dolores/Mission, coffee shops, Chloe's Café...etc.

Exercise: Jog/Run to Dolores Park or spin/yoga @ Cardio-Tone

Last but not least, Dana is a great host who is so professional, responsive and cares for his guests. He provided lots of tips of how to get around and I really appreciated it!

I highly recommend this place. I enjoyed staying in a neighborhood which is not "touristy" so I get to see the real side of SF and be part of it.

Amazing stay

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at the "Rooftop Sunroom," in Noe Valley was one of the best experiences my wife and I have had staying in VRBOs'. Our host Dana, was professional, personable, and responsive to any requests or questions we had. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and private. The bed was comfortable too, we slept great.

The apartment has AMAZING views... As others have mentioned...the pictures do not do the actual views justice. The location could not have been better, close to amazing restaurants, Chloe's Cafe around the corner has amazing breakfasts and lunch options, with fresh eggs, fruit, and vegetables. You are close to 24th street, with shops, restaurants, Whole Foods, and close to public transportation too. The apartment is close to the Mission District as well. Dolores Park is within walking distance, and is not to be missed. The neighborhood is very safe. My wife and I felt safe walking around even late at night.

My wife and I have traveled a good bit, through Europe and the United States, staying at the "Rooftop Sunroom," was one of our better travel experiences we've had and this apartment and our host Dana were a large part of our great experience in SF. When we return to SF we will stay with Dana again, no doubt.
