Paragliding: You have to do it with your own equipment. There are 2 very good sites for paragliding - one is from the rocks in the end of the village - Madara Plateau. The other is 15 km from the village - in the second National Park - Schumensko Plateau, surrounding Schumen town. There are bus shuttles 3 times daily from the village to the town, little private shuttles as well and on-call taxies. PP. And IF you are really, really good flyer, you are allowed to land directly into our garden (not on the roof,please) - the dinner will be waiting for you and the table will be set. It saves you money for the shuttle bus. It has been achieved once before. .by one of our guy - you know - the Bulgarians are a little bit strange people sometimes

Bicycling and forest-walks.: With your own bicycle. The forest is at least 10 sq km - you may walk really long time in it. A lot of wild-life to be seen - rabbits, pheasants, deer's...big diversity of flowers.... For the forest-walks or climbing the rocks of Madara Plateau you don’t need any special training or equipment. The routes are easy level - suitable for adults, young and old people and children. The Madara rocks have special steps curved into the stone and it is secured with a banister (very picturesque, don’t miss the sunset from the top). There are nice rocks in the shape of mushrooms as well, the acoustic cave and many other interesting attractions.

Fishing : You don’t need special fishing permit - if you go to the small lakes around the villages in the area. Usually you have to pay just 1-2 Euros on the spot - if any guards are around at all. Usually they will come and ask you. On all the lakes you can keep the fish and cook it later at home, often you can make bonfire on the beach of the lake and roast the fish there. Sometimes (depends which village-lake you are at) you have to pay per every 1 kg of the fish around 1 Euro- especially for carp-fishing. Let say - you got 5 kg carp, on your way out the guards are measuring it and they charge you 5 Euros. For the small fish they usually don't charge you. The nearest lake is 1 mile from our village. There are at least other 5 lakes in radius of 5-6 miles. And don't forget - Black Sea is only 1 hour drive away - in case you have test for sea-fish.
