Romantic, self catering, one bedroom cottage with kitchen, shower room and lounge/diner.Twin bedroom, plus sofa bed in the lounge, and cot. A rooftop annexe available with twin beds and shower en-suite. Country location with beautiful views of the surrounding hills, yet only a 15min walk into the town of Sao Bras, with its many shops, restaurants, cafes, and only a 20min drive to the coast, golf courses, aquapark and faro airport.

Situated in the hills of Mesquita above the rural town of Sao Bras, a quiet country retreat , ideal for a walking or bird watching holiday,yet only 25mins drive from Faro airport, and lovely beaches, golf courses and Algarve night life 30mins drive away, Spain only 1hour drive away.The town of Sao Bras is within walking distance and has many cafes and restaurants, park, public outdoor and indoor swimming pools, banks and supermarkets. The cottage is equipped with DVD and CD player and has its own garden with patio and BBQ area, and the annexe has a roof garden with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. All linen and towels are provided (except beach towels) and there is a daily maid service included. and a welcome pack on your arrival.

If you want to stay in a quiet small house without spending much money, this could be the choice.

Eillen is very nice and leaves a nice surprise for you when you arrive. It seems as if you're arriving to your mother's house, with bread, cheese, milk, wine, chips...

It was very nice.
Owner's Response: The welcome pack is standard for all.
These renters enjoyed their Easter break here with plenty going on in Sao Bras, especially the Flower Parade on Easter Sunday, which is always well attended. Eileen.

A lovely rural retreat

“We enjoyed a lovely relaxing holiday in your cottage which was just as described in the web-site.

The garden was lovely and the sunbeds, tables and umbrellas perfect for eating out or reading a book in the sun or in the shade..

The accommodation in both the cottage and the annexe was very clean and very well-equipped. We felt it was very good value for money.

There were several good local restaurants to choose from and we particularly liked Rocha da Gralheira for a special occasion meal. The Mesa da Cume in the hills above Tavira has some spectacular views and the food’s good as well.

The cottage is in a good position to go into Spain for the day or indeed down the other way to Albufeira and beyond!

Thanks again for a lovely time.”

With Benamore,Qinta da Ria/da Cima 20 mins away and all others to the Spanish border max 40 mins you will not find a better, more friendly place to base youself for golf.The only course a buggy is needed is Castro Marim due to layout,do not take a buggy on Quinta da Cima as it is flat and you are not allowed off the cart paths,leaving you walking further to your ball,mostly with the wrong club.Monte Rei is highly recommended for that special occasion,not cheap but course and arrangements second to none.You will also enjoy the local area restaurants,real food at real prices with real locals.Take a trip,you will not regret it,less than 30 mins from Faro,you will be well looked after by Eileen
