Grooms Cottage is a holiday cottage, with views overlooking the village green of St Florence, within the Ivy Tower Village complex in St. Florence, just outside Tenby. The village is set within 5 acres of beautiful grounds, the large meadow providing all ages with space to relax and enjoy the tranquility and surroundings. The cottage is ideally situated to enjoy Tenby and the many beautiful beaches, castles and coastline that Pembrokeshire has to offer. The cottage is fully equipped with modern appliances, including electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. The stylishly furnished sitting room with hi-fi, TV and DVD opens onto the conservatory/dining area. Upstairs has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom. A cot and high chair are also provided. There are many attractions and activities to cater for all ages, located nearby, including stunning beaches, beautiful walks, theme parks, fishing, horse riding and golf.

Grooms Cottage sleeps five with accommodation comprising of one double, twin and single rooms. The cottage offers a child friendly atmosphere with the wonderful amenities of indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, solarium, fully equipped gym, tennis court, crazy golf and children’s play area. The village shop and pubs are a short walk away. Conveniently located to explore historic sites, such as the ancient city of St David’s named after the patron saint of Wales, the smallest city in Britain and the fabulous 11th century Pembroke castle. Grooms Cottage was delightful. It was in the perfect location for sight-seeing, activities and attractions as well as 2 local pub/restaurants, a very good village store and a super cafe at the garden centre opposite.
The cottage itself was well equipped and laid out and the beds were so comfortable, we didn't want to get up on wet windy mornings!
Our 14 yr old and 11 yr old granddaughters lived in the pool when we were "at home" and made friends with other girls their age with whom they are now emailing and texting. If we had any complaint at all it would be that the changing rooms could do with updating/thorough cleaning as does the table tennis room - both look dated and grubby. My husband says the multi-gym was not in use and the fitness room could also do with an update.
We would still recommend the place to others and would certainly go back again ourselves.

Generally this was a very good experience for us. The property was clean and well maintained. The on site staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a good time - and were ideally situated between Tenby and Monorbier. Great walks and good beaches. The property is small and is in a holiday complex of similar units. The bathroom was downstairs which was problematic for our older party member. The only problem I had was with broadband access. I couldn't get on-line from the cottage. The pool is small but well maintained, although I would have liked to have had it open earlier in the morning. No one else used it while we were in there for the whole of our week. The Sun Inn in the village was the friendliest local I have been in for ages. Try the "Double Dragon!"
