MARIAN'S SKI LODGE, LAKE DUNLAP. GREAT RATES, GREAT PLACE!

We spent a week in July at Marian's Lodge and just loved it. You are literally minutes away from floating the Guadalupe (which we did), going to Schlitterbaun, dinner in Gruene (wonderful) and the best part... JUST STEPS AWAY FROM a beautiful lake to float in all day. This little home has all you need! A nice deck to relax on, some shade and some sun, big trees to sit under and water to float in alll day. We loved watching the skiers in the morning but the fact its not public so its not crowded, its your own little get away. You have fast access to a convenience store or just 6 minutes up the road to any grocery (HEB) and restaurant you can imagine. The kitchen is completely furnished as we cooked daily and never needed anything, the home has nice air conditioning, bed are very comfy, tv in all bedrooms, nice washer and dryer, plenty of room for the whole family. Enough space in living room and each bedroom for air mattress' and cots too!! We really did not want to leave on Sunday as it was like our own little private get away and so very peaceful. The kids loved being able to grab a tube after breakfast and jump right in. Boat ramp on the property so if you have a boat or jet ski, its ideal plus the kids just walked down boat ramp into water. Elisa, who is the owner is so very helpful and accessible if you need her. The first day the umbrella was broken (bad weather) and we needed more propane, she had it delivered right away! Great hospitality! The lodge is very clean and I would recommend this to any family looking for a wonderful weekend get away or full week vacation. Heck, I could have stayed longer. Just looking at the pics now makes me miss this wonderful get away. A MUST DO!!!! Elisa, we just want to thank you again for sharing your little home. We will be back and we will tell all our friends!
