The apartment is situated in an exclusive residential property with free access to the swimming pool by our guests. From the balcony of the apartment you enjoy a 180 degrees views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. You will be able to see the Desertas islands in the East side at a distance, the promontory with the monument of Christ the King, the hotel Dom Pedro Garajau and the posh villas. The apartment is on the top floor of the building and there is two elevators to carry you up and down. There is a parking space in the garage available if you hire a car. During the whole day there is always the sun light all over the apartment. It is very well decorated, very comfortable and cosy to spend your wonderful holidays 'home from home'.

The building is centrally located to the adjacent shops and the hotel in the main road. Every thing what you need is eventually there for you. From the bakery where you will find a big variety of fresh bread and cakes for your breakfast, to the bars or restaurants to please yourselves with a memorable moment, to the famous Tourigalo take away mouthwatering food that one can not resist, the ice cream shop, to the kaleidoscope of colours in the grocery with exotic fruits and vegetables. All this to give you the pleasure of being tempted by the good things of life. To complete this list you will find as well a supermarket, a pharmacy, a laundry, a hairdryer, souvenirs shop, etc. In case you wish to hire a car there is a rent a car also. The taxis rank is in front of the hotel, but, there is opposite a bus stop with a very good timetable of the public buses to reach the centre of Funchal city at extremely reasonable prices.

    When your booking is made within less than 6 weeks of your arrival, the complete payment is required and it is non-refundable.
    The deposit can only be reimbursed when the cancellation of your reservation is made until 90 days prior to your arrival, otherwise, there is no place for reimbursement. It is your responsibility to ensure acknowledgment of your cancellation is received in good time.

Looking into the photographs, you can realise that the location of this apartment in Garajau village has all what someone seeks. From the spacious, bright and stylish decoration of the apartment to the swimming pool where you can get a sun tan. In the vicinity of the apartment there is all the sorts of amenities available to make your life easy and relaxing. Garajau village used to be a posh area where one could only see beautiful villas with swimming pools from the most wealthy people in the island, nowadays it has become a very popular place to live for everybody and due to this migration, there is all the essential amenities in the area. It is not a tourist area in the sense that it has only two hotels in the village, therefore you will be in contact with the genuine hospitality of the local people.

Coast/ Beach: This comfortable apartment is superbly situated close to the sea. The inviting beach with its turquoise blue sea is just 1 km. from the apartment. It is also where the famous main attraction so called Ponta do Garajau promontory offers breathtaking views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Caniço de Baixo village and Funchal city. By the sea there is the Nature Reserve (Reserva Natural Parcial do Garajau) which offers an extraordinary biological diversity of fauna in the deep blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Garajau village is set between Caniço city and Funchal capital. The distance from Madeira international airport to Garajau is roughly 15 km. or 15 minutes driving. To drive from the apartment to Funchal city is approximately 10 km. or 10 minutes

Transfers/ Rent a car: Upon request we can arrange a low cost transfer service in a Mercedes Sprinter mini coach with a qualified driver that will collect you at the airport and bring you directly to the apartment. In case you wish to hire a car, we can suggest you some local rent a car where you can verify the tariffs.

Thanks to Marco for his very courteous and informative welcome. The apartment was exactly as described and perfect for our needs. It had all mod cons. Garajau is a cute little town, with a fab bakery, and we found it very convenient to get to Funchal when required.

We went for two weeks holiday, and we rent this flat, we had one excellent reception on arrival , very friendly and informative, is very good value for money very clean, 2 minutes walk from shops, take ways, pharmacy, bars and goods restaurants, 10 minutes to main city Funchal, 10 minutes to airport, the flat have a beautiful views and a swimming pool, the sea is a short walking distance, what can I say I will go back again has been a very good holidays with on a very large 1 bedroom flat much better than a hotel, I will recommend to anyone looking for a long or short holiday on the island MADEIRA
