A small country estate comprising of a large Gothic style country house (5,000 sq ft) with a commanding hill top setting (views 360 degrees), set in 5 acres of park like grounds and a further 15 acres of paddocks one hour from London. There are 7 double bedrooms and one single, 4 bathrooms, a large living room, dining room, play room, breakfast room, utility room. The house has antique hardwood panelling in a superb reception hall, stone mullion windows and high ceilings and a large fireplace. In the basement is a 800 sq ft dance studio with wood panelling and mirrors, laser and disco lights, cinema and sound system. The house is reached by a 1km private driveway. In the grounds of the house are a stunning large (50ft long) swimming pool with a slide and diving board, a new hot tub with LED lights and in-built stereo system overlooking fabulous views, a new sauna/steam room with in-built surround sound and fibre optic lighting. Situated on Leith Hill set in the Surrey Hills, half an hour's drive from Guildford, 20 minutes from Cranleigh in between the lovely country villages of Ockley and Coldharbour, our closest neighbours are 1km away. Guildford is a beautiful town with wonderful shops and cobbled streets filled with shops, theatres, a train station and cinema. Cranleigh is also a lovely little town which has a French market every Friday. A footpath from our front door takes you directly onto great walks or mountain bike scrambles all over the Surrey Hills. Deer and rabbits are in abundance in the grounds. Brighton is 40 minutes away by car with all the fantastic night life, beaches, pier, shopping, theatres that it has to offer. Gatwick airport is 25 minutes drive away and London is one hour by train from a station one mile away or an hour by car. We have many children's family farms to visit such as Bocketts Farm, Fishers Farm which make terrific days out.

A fantastic venue for a group of people wanting the facilities of a hotel but within a private, relaxing setting allowing everyone to do what they want when they want. Leith Hill is paradise for mountain bike fans and walkers alike, direct from the house there miles of beautiful terrain both demanding and easy, exquisite views. Please note that this venue is not available for weddings as we have a maximum capacity for 16 people only at anyone time.

We are members of the National Federation of Residential Landlords.

We can arrange for a daily maid service, caterers for parties or dinners, nannies, tennis lessons, pole dancing lessons, personal trainers, beauty therapists and masseuse to visit, fishing, clay pigeon shooting, shooting pheasant, partridge and deer, swimming lessons. Close by is a company called Party Tank who run activity days such as quad biking, land hover crafts, tank driving or paint balling.

Golf: We have numerous golf clubs locally such as Sunningdale, Walton Heath, Gatton Manor, Betchworth Golf Club and Kingswood Golf Club.

Other Activities: quad biking, shooting, hot tub, sauna/steam, adult croquet and children's croquet sets

Wow, what an amazing house and weekend stay !!!

Myself and 12 girlfriends all came down from London for my Hen Weekend. We were greeted by the lovely Nicky who was so welcoming and informative and immediately showed us around her amazing house. The website just does not do it justice. It is balances character with space and modern with warm and cosy. All the rooms are decorated to an immaculate standard and are a perfect size, the whole place has a sense of connection for a large party of friends. They are many places everyone can be together either indoors and outdoors. All the bedrooms are big and gorgeous. The location is very easy to get to from London and yet it is in the most beautiful countryside. The highlights of this house for me were The Play room with huge speakers and lasers, it was like being in a club but of course being in our wonderful home for the weekend, the hot tub with IPOD dock to play all your favourite songs whilst being gently pummelled with jets and bubbles, the grounds and the beautiful walks that start as soon as you walk out of the front door and the front room, it was cosy, intimate, comfortable and big enough for all 13 of us to spend the afternoon just being before more food and more dancing and more hot tub action. All I can say is that I want to go back and I want to go back in the summer so that we can really use this house to it's full outside potential i.e. swimming pool fun !!!!

Simply perfect

We rented the property in January 2010 for a hen weekend and could not have asked for more. The owner was incredibly helpful in helping us plan the weekend and made us all feel so welcome. The house itself is outstanding - every room is well decorated, and the whole house was spotless. The stand out feature though is the dance studio in the basement - so perfect for a hen weekend! Outside there is a big pool and jacuzzi which looked very inviting too. I would highly recommend this property to my friends.

the Manor House

Celebrated recently a significant birthday with a group of close friends.Even though the weather was so against us, the weekend was a fantastic success. the rooms are all very comfy and most quite spacious. the master bedroom is magnificent (great sunken bath with jets!).
The studio in the basement was a big hit and the sound/sight experience excellent.
we would recommend the Manor House wholeheartedly especially when the weather is better and you can take full advantage of the great outside facilities.
we would love to return!!

Peace and pampering for my 40th

I celebrated my 40th birthday at The Manor House - it was a surprise my friends organised. So I couldn't quite believe it when we came up the long driveway - it certainly sets the tone! The setting was amazing, quiet and peaceful, and the house (along with owner Nicky) provided everything you want out of a weekend away. It was my first time away from my (18-month-old) son so I was given the master bedroom (lie ins and my own sunken bath, bliss)! But all the rooms were great. And downstairs there was enough to keep everyone happy. Lying by the fire, watching films, in and out of the hot tub and sauna. We went for long walks and even played tennis (depite being November). On the Saturday night, all 16 of us sat down for a huge dinner, and we had fireworks and did a bit of dancing. Very comfortable and relaxing with a WOW factor, we all left very happy. We still talk about it. My friend told me the other day it was the highlight of his year. So, a big success.

40th birthday weekend

A perfect venue for a 40th birthday weekend with a group of friends, without children. Fantastic facilities, the boys made use of the hot tub and sauna, the girls made use of the party room. We used the tennis court. It was an excellent venue. We had a black tie dinner arranged via the owner, which was a perfect way to celebrate. Although the pool is closed at this time of year, you can imagine that this is the perfect house for a summer weekend with a group of families and children, playing around the pool.
